Oyster Delight! This is a destination place for most customers, so it has to be «worth the drive». I drove 19 miles and was not disappointed. They are consistent with their food and their service. The cashier, probably the owner, was very friendly. The oysters, shrimp and catfish were all delicious. I am glad it is not really close to home or, I would probably be there too much! The price is a little higher than the last time I was there. It was $ 18.99 per person for the buffet. You can order from the menu. Those prices are a little better. I would definitely go back.

For a $ 20 seafood buffet, I expect much more. There were shrimp, crab strips and two types of fish, all deep fried. There were deep fried corn nuggets(that were the best thing on offer), deep fried chicken nuggets and deep fried hush puppies. Of the things that weren’t deep fried, the pickings were slim and mostly overcooked. Deserts were poor, too. For $ 10, I wouldn’t complain and might even come back but don’t waste your money at current prices.

Great southern style buffet. We enjoyed catfish and sweet tea on our way through town and were personally checked by the owner as he made his rounds in the dining area.

Food was good but the experience makes this one worthwhile. It is a very cool historic setting. The owner is very nice. He told us stories dating back to the Civil War. Gotta go at least once. He even built a fence for Elvis.

The best catfish/seafood buffet in the South! The owners are always there during the evening, talking with the patrons, and you will generally see the regulars there if you go often enough. I’ve had friends drive all the way up from Memphis to come and eat here, and when family comes in from out of town, we always bring them here for a good dinner. A tip: Make sure you arrive early in the evening, sometimes parking can be a bit hairy, and the wait can be up to 45 minutes at times(yes, they are that good). They’re only open on the weekends for dinner, but it’s worth the drive if you’re craving some good old fashioned fried catfish, shrimp, oysters, clams, hushpuppies, and fries. They also have fried chicken strips, an assortment of veggies, and dessert on the buffet also, so everyone can enjoy…

Only open Fri and Sat. Not sure the hours so call them. Definately worth the drive. Would give a 5 star but the buffett is too expensive being 18 bucks. It is all you can eat with lots of sea food, shrimp, stuffed crab, clam strips, fried oysters… but still too expensive for a buffett. Buffett also incledus all you can eat catfish different sides. The salad bar is small. Deserts are available on the buffett. Catfish was great! Used to be a very old store looks like from the 20 — 40’s…can’t tell.

Food very good. Service good. Mom and Pop place in old store type building. The catfish is very good. along with 20 other items all good. The apple cobbler is awesome… Worth the drive and drive fast… just go. parking= private lot. Casual. groups and children yes. only open certain hours so make sure you know when to go.

Quite possibly my favorite catfish restaurant. The catfish is great, but they have a huge buffet including the BEST fried oysters I’ve ever had. The ambiance is excellent with hundreds of antiques lining the 12-foot walls of this former cotton merchantile of an era past. This is a true«mom & pop» with almost the entire staff being from the same family. The owner often strolls the restaurant chatting with patrons.
