Cincinnati Children’s Mason Campus

We love the Mason Children’s. The urgent care is open late weeknights and during the day on weekends. While none of our son’s specialists come here, we do use the test facilities and urgent care. The staff is friendly and caring.

Anything with the name Cincinnati Childrens Hospital is amazing! CCHMC is the third best pediatric hospital in the country… the best is several individual areas. The staff at the Mason Campus is amazing! The doctors are great and knowledgeable about all aspects of medicine! They offer Urgent Care services from 6pm to 11pm Monday through Friday…12pm to 7 pm on Saturdays… and 11am to 7pm on Sundays. All other times are by appointment only.

I visited this location for physical therapy after chiropractor appointments had done nothing to relieve my chronic back pain. Apparently, pain due to scoliosis can be cured by stretching certain muscles in the abs and back in particular ways.
I went twice a week for three months. My therapist was young and energetic, she showed me how to do every stretch she could think of to relieve my pain and seemed genuinely interested in helping me. The center itself is modern and large; it actually resembles a small gym because of all the equipment they have to help kids. It focuses on rehabilitating children and adolescents with sports injuries, I was always out of place among the football players.
My therapist taught me a number of stretches and used electric pulses on my back to relieve my pain; which actually was significantly less after each appointment. I probably should have continued with the therapy for longer than I did as my pain did come back eventually, but insurance only covers PT for so long.
I liked visiting this campus because it is a lot closer to my parent’s home in West Chester than the main downtown campus. I love that Children’s makes their services accessible to parents and kids all over town.
