Not that impressive. 1) they list ingredients but not all ingredients in their dishes. This is nonsensical and just too bad if you have a food allergy like j do and thought that the list would be pretty conclusive. No. 2) tiny portion of not amazing food. Really…$ 7.50 for an egg sandwich that came with American cheese(!) and was literally six bites? They get an extra star for enviro friendly disposable products. I’d try again since it has other good reviews but was not impressed today. Still hungry actually considering I couldn’t eat half of what I ordered(allergy) and the sandwich was small.

We had sampled some of good bites delicious pub food at BAD Brewing in Mason a couple of times and were impressed. When it came time to select a caterer for our backyard wedding, we wanted to keep it local and fresh, so good bites was instantly a top candidate. Even better, when we contacted them, they were happy to work with us to put together the menu of gourmet sliders that we were looking for, and it fit perfectly within our budget. Despite an outdoor venue, at ninety degrees, and high humidity/light rain, the food was served without a hitch and our guests loved it. Working with Nicole was easy, as she was professional and accommodating. We worried about a lot of things concerning the wedding, but the catering was never one of them. I would have rated good bites well on their pub food alone, but given our experience with their catering services, we couldn’t recommend them more highly. Should you be in the market for a caterer, put them on your list. You won’t be disappointed.

Good Bites is the new kid on the block in Mason, but they hit the ground running! The food truck travels around some, but can usually be found parked behind BAD Brewing Co. My fiancé and I had been enjoying BAD brews for a few years, but were always sad there wasn’t a good food option to accompany them! Along comes Good Bites, with an ever-changing menu filled with local and seasonal produce, eggs, bread and meat [and even some items cooked in or prepared with BAD brews]. Their German pretzel is to die for, slathered in butter and served hot alonsgside housemade mustard… the handcut fries are great too, nice and crispy. Both are a great option to start while you decide what else to try! Recently there has also been a meat & cheese plate, all locally-sourced and some cured right on the truck! So far we haven’t tried a single thing that wasn’t spot-on, fresh and delicious [and we pretty much can’t stay away now that great beer AND food are available under the same roof]. It’s easy to order too… they’ll take your order on a slick mobile app right in the bar, and then bring the food to you once it’s ready. The service is great and friendly, very fast. You can also take a look around the brewery for Waldo while you wait…
