Thrive Salon

My stylist moved away last year, and I was terrified at the thought of what we usually go through to find someone new. I heard about Thrive Salon on Facebook and thought I’d give it a try.
APPOINTMENTS: The hours are very convenient! You can even book appointments online. I scheduled mine at 10:00pm. As a busy mom, that is a priceless convenience.
THE SALON: I absolutely love how immaculately clean and organized Thrive Salon is. Salons are almost always jumbled with shelves of products that they push you to buy. And then there are the odd attempts at «décor». It can feel claustrophobic. There is none of that at Thrive Salon. What you will find is an elegantly sleek station, simple large mirrors and tasteful décor.
THE STYLIST: I can’t say enough about what Erika can do with a pair of scissors! She really has a gift. (Her own hair is amazing, too.) She is the first stylist I’ve been to in years that actually listens! As a former instructor, she talked me through every step as she cut and styled my hair and made sure I understood exactly how to recreate the style at home, and gave me some ideas for different ways to wear my new cut as well. Erika was genuinely concerned that I am happy with my hair — i.e. her work — and was comfortable with how I can manage it between visits. She has a fun personality and a passion for what she does.
THE PRICE: The services are priced very reasonably. I expected to pay much more for the quality style that I received. I was pleased to hear about the deals and discounts that are also available. Erika has a masterful way of delivering perfection while being mindful of her guest’s budget– whatever that budget may be.
THE ENDING: I left the salon loving my new style. My hair finally looks amazing again and I can’t wait for my next visit to see Erika at Thrive Salon. The icing on the cake was walking through the door at home at being greeted by my husband with «WOW! I love your hair. You are beautiful!»
