The food was ok, but definitely nothing to make me be in any hurry to come back. Prices were a little high for what we got. My husband got pierogi and onions and he really liked them however there was not a lot of food for the price. We all asked for water to drink and were brought bottled water instead of glasses of water, which raised our dinner by another $ 4.50.

If no star was a option i would have put that. I went in to the place with high hopes, ordered a sweet tea and they brought me out a bottle of brisk tea. i just walked out. If these people are too lazy to make fresh tea, a simple beverage. What makes you think anything here is fresh or homemade? just a thought

First off, I have always loved Dolfis. As a kid, it was the one place on which the whole family could agree. I loved their pasta and scarfed down lasagna like Garfield, so Dolfis seemed like the perfect Mother’s Day treat, but I have to say that I was a little disappointed. Yes, my lasagna delicious and the service really was quite good, but beyond that I thought my favorite childhood dinner spot could use a bit of an upgrade. Now, I don’t really want them to change the dinning room to much, because for the most part it was just as I remembered; however, I do think that they are in desperate need of a new sound system to drown out the conversations of other patrons. I really didn’t want to listen to some child explain why he liked chocolate milk over regular for 10 minutes – not even sure they have chocolate milk – «Chocolate milk is the best! Yeah, we get it kid, it’s chocolate… nuff said However, the worst part about the whole dinning experience was the incessant chiming of a door bell(seriously, I’m not kidding here) every minute or so to alert the waitress(s) that someone’s meal was up. I think that I would have preferred a cook screaming from the kitchen, «Order up!»…At least it would have had Diner, Drive-ins, and Dives character. No, for me the bell has just got to go. I really don’t think the wait staff needs such a contraption, for my waitress was very smart and capable of figuring out when someone’s food was up Finally, I wasn’t too impressed with the pizza, but the rest of our meal was just as I remembered from my youth. With just a few easily fixed items, I think Dolfis could once again be the 5 star experience of younger days.

Dolfi’s pizza is the absolute best pizza around. On Thursdays it’s $ 2 off for a carry out pizza. We get it pretty much every Thursday.
