This is my new go-to Chinese takeout place… recently moved to the area but I’ve tried this place numerous times… Best Roast Pork Egg Foo Young in my book. If you’re feeling lazy to make lunch or dinner, best Chinese takeout in this are.

I wish I still worked down the block from here. The hot and sour soup is the best I’ve ever had! It has mushrooms and shredded chicken in it(try getting that anywhere else!), and I used to get only that for lunch sometimes. It’s tasty and filling. You can get lunch specials here for under $ 5, too, with a soup or soda. Can’t beat that! The other Chinese places on Grand Ave charge more, and the soup or soda is optional, at an extra cost(I know, what kind of bs lunch special is that?). The staff here is really nice, too. New Grand China Kitchen FTW!

This food isn’t even edible. I ordered the sesame chicken, the General Tso’s chicken, lo mien, fried dumplings, and almond cookies– all of it, even the almond cookies, tasted like crap. Both chicken dishes were nothing but gristle, the batter around the dumplings fell right off, the almond cookies were stale. Gross, I had to cook dinner myself that night.

The only place I get take out from at home. Egg rolls greasy and delish! Love the Lo Mein, Fried Rice, Chicken with string beans, General Tso’s, Scallion Pancakes, Spare Ribs. So So So good. The people who work there are nice. I sometimes like to take the walk and watch them cook!
