Just do not go to this restaurant. Just do not go. Don’t even think about it. Horrible service. And price is not cheap either. Bad server who spends know what to do. And the slowest service I have ever had. Please just don’t go. You have other choose unless you he 4 hours for dinner for horrible survive and mediocre food.

O’neils is literally 2 blocks away from where I live. I remember we used to come here every night before they were burned to ashes. Still visit them very often. If you want wings, this is definitely a place to visit. They have a huge bar, and offer other food as well from seafood to steaks. Me and a few cousins went for wing night. 50 cents per wing is pretty good when you consider the flavors and size and freshness taste of the chicken. I get«Jack Daniel’s» flavored wings. They have a lot of flavors to choose from.

Staff is rude especially the older red headed lady at the front. This place went to crap. Service sucks. You need a lesson on customer service

Great wings, great beer, and an amazing new chef. There’s plenty of nice tvs to watch games and a good lively crowd. Perfect bar with great food. Highly recommend.

Customer service sucks. It was a group party. The workers checked on us briefly, but saw that the drinks and bread ran out, yet decided not to give us more. They only have one pitcher of Sprite and never gave us more. The food was good but not the service.

Fabulous food, awesome ambiance(you can stay low key in one of the dining areas) or you can get into«party mode in the other dining room or of course by the bar. Food is FANTASTIC!

Overpriced food came out cold and flavorless. Husband had steak and I had Pecan chicken. Have never been served a meal so cold in my life. Had the steak sent back to be reheated. Came back warm but rubbery. Extremely dissatisfied with this dining experience, especially considering the prices of the food!

One of the best bars I’ve been too! The crowd is amazing, the food is great(try the chicken tid-bit, delicious!) and they have valet parking which is free and fast service! I really recommend this place to anyone who is looking to just relax and have a few drinks with their friends! Will be coming back for sure.

— Parking is impossible so they do offer free valet parking, that’s a huge plus. Great bar/sport themed restaurant with many tvs. Only down side is that it is on the most part packed! So waiting for food may seem like forever! Great fried calamari, crab cakes, garlic bread, French onion soup… Same with dessert, wait about 30 min for a scoop of ice cream & brownie. In my opinion, it’s a little expensive but it’s a nice place to go with family & friends. I do recommend this restaurant

Love the wings! Love the pizza! Love the garlice bread! Love the burgers! Love the Friday Happy Hour ship roast! Love the selections on tap! Love the décor! Love the service! Love the staff! Love the patrons! They also deliver super fast on Sunday afternoons! I’ve been calling this place ‘Home’ for several years. And now I am finally expressing how I feel about O’neill’s Maspeth since 1933: Love! Love! Love!

I always enjoy coming here. It’s a great spot to watch a game, grab a bite to eat and have a drink. The bartenders and waitresses are friendly and welcoming!

It was ok here. There were four of us and we started with some drinks and the calamari appetizer. I was not impressed with the calamari & barely ate any of it(a rarity for me). I ordered the Cajun Chicken Sandwich, which came with fries. Again, not impressed. Sandwich was quite bland, fries were decent. I ordered a side of macaroni & cheese for the table to share and that was AMAZING! Really delicious. Everyone else at the table seemed to really enjoy their food(steaks and mashed potatoes). Service was adequate.

Standard sports bar. The two stars are for the wings, which are awesome according to my fiancé who is somewhat of a chicken wing aficionado. Everything else on the menu should be avoided at all costs. Chicken tenders were disgusting. Mozzarella sticks were not gooey but reheated poorly and still solid in some areas. Ugh. Prices are pretty standard for a bar like this, and mixed drinks are good.

Used to be my favorite spot for steak in queens. First red flag when i walked in and the shady woman manager told the hostess to seat us in the empty dining room instead of the other dining room which was half full. Prime rib came out with no bone? Salt poured on it like a waterfall. I know this place was never the most diverse, but unfortunately after my recent experience here and previous posts, seems like management only want a certain group of customers…

3.5 — 4 stars. The place is a nice restaurant/sports bar in Maspeth. I’ve heard of this place yet never made it in until yesterday. My best friend was already there and had asked me to meet her there for happy hour. You can tell she was having a great time. They had ordered buffalo wings, waffle fries, and a pitcher of margarita. They had almost finished the pitcher and offered me the last glass so I can taste it. It was actually very nice. The waitress came around and asked me if I wanted to order something. I said lets order another pitcher of the margarita. My friend asked for the bartender to make it a lil stronger. After two tries, it was great. I had about 4 wings and they were large and flavorful. Medium is the way to go just enough heat. Thursdays are 50 cent wings. Score. While enjoying the ambiance and music, I noticed O’Neills’s is a large restaurant. They have large tv screens, great for sports. While we were there in the main bar area, the other dining room was packed. I liked how their were a lot of families. It shows they cater to all and thats great. Later in the evening the crowd changed as well as the music. They played top 40 hits which was another plus. We were a lil hungry and we opted for garlic bread. Omg was the garlic bread delish. The garlic sauce was so creamy. I have never had garlic bread like that. I am definitely going back for happy hour and to try the dinner specials.

I been here a few more times since my last review and they have done such an improvement. The food is back to being great. My two favorite things are the wings and pizza. I’m guessing that when they first reopened they were still trying to figure things out and so happy they are back to being the great establishment they were before the fire. My friends love this place and that’s why I kept coming back. I’m so glad I gave this place a second chance.

DONOTGOHERE. If I could give this place half a star, I would. We came in on a Monday night for their 50 cent wings. From the moment we sat down, the waitress harassed us for our order. We ordered within 5 minutes, but she must have asked us 15 times in that time span. She forced us to have bottled water, which we were charged $ 3 each for. She could not provide any recommendations nor descriptions other than that the shake n bake wings were«boring.» Note: They automatically charge a 20% gratuity, meaning their service is deplorable. The food came out relatively quick, which was their only saving grace. Our waitress came by once to ask how everything was at the beginning of our meal. However, she was already gone by the time any of us looked up to respond. My boyfriend wanted some hot sauce to go with his fries. Though he turned around and raised his hands, three people walked past him without acknowledgment. Eventually, he had to get up and call someone over just to get one condiment. To end it all, she dropped the check off with not even as much as a thank you. Though we were looking for her afterwards, she was nowhere to be found. Save yourself the trip here(parking is a mess anyway) and go to Hooters.

Prior to O’Neills closing, I would make the drive from Forest Hills to Maspeth as I felt it was the best location to watch multiple sporting events. No matter your spectator sport of choice, O’Neills had the TV’s and the great service to make every Sunday during football season a worthy excursion. The soul of the old O’Neills seems to be fully in tact as service and friendliness were not compromised. It still has all the feel of a local bar, but with two very welcome upgrades.(There are obviously more than two upgrades to the new build out, I’m just touching on two) Obviously the new high definition TV’S really make a difference to the sportsfan in me, but the menu has also undergone some very impressive and delicious changes. **The Unilocal Elite event a few weeks back allowed me the opportunity to sample most all appetizer menu items and one was better than the next. I intend to sit for dinner in the next week and write an updated review on my findings. I’m completely convinced that O’Neills will deliver in fine fashion.
