Richair did a wonderful job of installing 5 split mini units in our Brooklyn townhouse. They managed to do it in a way that looks much nicer than any of the other options we were offered by other HVAC companies. Boris had an eye for aesthetics and function and the price was right. I also liked that they had their own electrician so the install was a package job. We decided to go with the 10 year warranty which was relatively inexpensive. Hopefully we don’t have to use it.

I had recently received an estimate for a multi-room system when my current one-from Mitsubishi system died after 17 years. I contacted Peter on a Sunday and he immediately provided a revised estimate and contacted his colleagues to get the ball rolling. My new system was installed that Wednesday. Everyone I dealt with was helpful and efficient and Richair’s prices were about 20% lower than the other estimate I received. I would certainly use them again.

RichAir installed a full Baxi condensing boiler system in my house. Their work was beautiful. Unfortunately there was a problem with the Baxi itself that was all but impossible to diagnose. Boris and Demyd stuck with me when most other contractors would have walked away in frustration. They came time and again to try to solve the problem. They got the manufacturer involved and eventually it was Demyd who found a defect in the unit itself. They know their stuff. They are honest. They are nice to deal with. If you are buying a system these are the guys to work with.

Mini split Air conditioning systems are a wonderful addition to any home, but when they start to malfunction good luck in trying to find people competent enough to service and troubleshoot your system. When my mini split system was originally installed a few years ago. It never operated properly from day one. I should have contacted RichAir to do my install, but I was«a penny wise and a pound foolish» and had my friend who knew a friend who did my installation, bad move on my part! Unfortunately, there are many installers out there who are just that, installers only. During the last few years I had my share of HVAC techs who could not properly diagnose and fix the problems I was having with my system, they just went through the motions of charging and discharging the«freon»(R410a refrigerant) I was so frustrated and decided to give RichAir a shot. These guys were great! No, they’re not cheap, but the technicians are factory trained and worked with the technical support department of the mini split manufacturer to fix the problem. A Big Thank you goes out to Kassim for diagnosing the problem, orderering the parts and installing it a few days later. The system is working like a champ now. It only took a few years to get it right though, that’s on me for waiting! If you want to get it done right the 1st time. Give RichAir a call, these guys are great and worth every penny!

These guys were truly exceptional. From beginning to end, everyone from the rep to the installation technicians were consummate professionals, providing me an estimate for two cooling units for my apartment, walking me through the process of what I could expect from them and what I needed to do, performing quick and clean one-day installation, and then even filling out the paperwork to get my $ 1000 energy credit back from ConEd. Make no mistake, ductless air conditioning is a pricey investment, but they’re really worth it for the comfort they provide during the hot and muggy summer months. And you need installers who know what they’re doing, don’t B.S. you or take you to the cleaners. Here’s where you know you’re dealing with professionals: After everything was installed, I wanted to register everything for the manufacturer warranty, and as I was gathering the serial number for all four units(I had a 9000BTU and 12000BTU unit installed in my bedroom and living room respectively, along with the corresponding outdoor units), I noticed that the technicians mistakenly hooked up the 9000BTU outdoor cooling unit with the 12000BTU indoor unit. I contacted the rep, Peter M. and you know what he did? He called me back the same day, verified that this was indeed done, admitted the mistake, apologized for it and immediately corrected the error by having technicians come out the next day to swap the units. The technicians who showed up to correct the error, echoed Peter’s apology, explained this rarely happens, and swiftly went to work. Any business can screw up from time to time, but it’s how the mistake is dealt with and responded to that gives you a clue into a business’ professionalism, competence, and dedication to customer service. What they did was textbook, excellent customer care. I think every consumer is hardwired to shop for the best deal; I call it the Walmart syndrome. Buy something as cheaply as possible. For certain items this certainly applies, but with sizable investments like split-type AC units, Richair Comfort solutions embodies the old adage«you get what you pay for». And what you get is top quality Mitsubishi product with caring and knowledgeable professionals.

It was a pleasure dealing with Peter D from Richair. He is extremely professional and very knowledgeable. We purchased three Panasonic ac/heating units. We are very pleased with them. They run very quietly and efficiently. The installers were very professional as well. The service technician arrived to ensure that the units were working properly.
