It isnt your typical huge souvenir shop you find at the beach. being that it is a small town it is probably one of maybe 3 shops to grab something with«matagorda» on it. t shirts, shot glasses, hats, koozies, shells, etc. you can buy your beach pass there when coming into town, only $ 10, better than getting a 50 – 500 $ fine and although we never saw anyone checking supposedly they are out there looking quite often. along with souvenirs they have items for the beach: sunscreen, floats, goggles, snorkels, umbrellas, beach mats, towels, and so on. oh and the ladies that work in there are locals, not someone that moved into town to take the money from the city. you can actually understand what they are saying, unlike most souvenir shops in bigger beach towns.
