Have colored stones you buy from any jeweler tested by a reputable independent US gem lab (ex. AGL). Synthetics and undesirable treatments are far too common. Some even fool «experienced» jewelers. Test BEFORE you invest!

I visited Designs by Shirlee when I decided to have my wedding ring re-​designed. Shirlee has a lot of experience and a great track record. She was able to look at my current ring and loose stones and offer some options. The ring she designed for me is absolutely gorgeous and even more beautiful than I imagined. I get compliments on it daily. Shirlee is amazingly talented. You won’t be disappointed.
