Hobby Lobby

My first time there was this week and I can’t believe I haven’t been here before! So many fun things to decorate with! They have the cutest selection of decorative wall hooks and cute little accessories for your house. Love it!

This is an amazing Hobby Lobby location. It almost seems brand new inside. The place is huge and the selection is vast. Anything you need for a craft or decorating you can find here. They always have the best prices too. I love Hobby Lobby and I come here any time I need something new to decorate with. I can always find something here I love

I love Hobby Lobby! I make the trek down here from Ballantyne passing 3 Michaels along the way. I think Hobby Lobby has better deals, and normally you are a fan of one or the other. I am definitely a Hobby Lobby girl.
They have a warehouse of crafting supplies, and endless amount of picture frames and home décor. Every Sunday in the newspaper there is a 40% off coupon hidden on the back of a section.
I probably came here once a week when I was planning my wedding and would often find their entire wedding section at ½ off. I pretty much decorated all of my wedding space from stuff I found here.
Please please put a Hobby Lobby closer to me!

If you do any kind of craft — you can find the supplies for it here. Holy smokes… I had to wander for quite a bit to find what I was looking for on this trip.
On previous trips with my mom, we have concentrated on the fabric section, which is fairly large, including specialty and decorator fabric. On this trip, I was in search of cross stitch supplies, after I found Michael’s stitching section to be meh. Hobby Lobby did not disappoint — the cross stitch section was well maintained, well stocked and had a wide variety of items. The thread section was well cared for and fully stocked — I found every color I needed and found it quickly. They also had a nice variety of aida fabric — I needed black and they had that along with several other colors. I purchased two hoops and the young lady who checked me out found that they were on sale (yay!).
While wandering around looking for the cross stitch section, I found they had a lot of decorator items (pictures, frames, vases, lamps, knick knacks) along with the crafting items. If you are a crafty person with many interests, this huge store could be a day trip for you. It was a little too big for me, but I was happy that I found exactly what I needed and checkout was quick and friendly.
Hobby Lobby is closed on Sundays (good for them!), so be sure to get your crafting (and Chick-​Fil-​A) items Monday — Saturday.

If you find yourself walking into A.C. Moore or Michaels, only to walk out again because you were just unable to find that one thing you wanted, try Hobby Lobby. This place is freaking huge, and if it involves crafting or home-​making, they probably have it.
On the downside, that means you may have to wander around for a bit in order to find what you seek. This is not really a bad thing — it just means that you may need to grab a buggy, as you will likely be picking up all sorts of things that you had no idea you wanted when you entered.
Staff is generally quite friendly, though they can also have that deer in the headlights look, and since at times the place borders on a close out store (think Big Lots), they may not actually be helpful. At least they keep you company while you look. Make sure you hang onto your receipt, as you can typically return most anything if you determine you don’t need it once you get home. Or even out to the parking lot.

Hobby Lobby, Oh how I love you so much! I love how I can walk into your clean and beautiful store and literally be pulled in all sorts of different directions. Every little nick-​nack calls to me and says «pick me up».
What I find amazing about you is that you have truly amazing prices every day. I can search high and low at all the local stores and will know that if all else fails Hobby Lobby will have what I’m looking for.
Totally redecorated my dining room last weekend and was looking for a candle sconces to hang up on the walls. Got a great deal for a beautiful metal sconce for only $ 20!

Huge place… good selection of crafting materials. I usually come here for paint supplies and photo frames. It seems like they’ve got about anything you need for craft projects. Even their seasonal stuff changes a lot. At one point I think I saw some small furniture items in here as well.
I am a little tainted since this used to be a grocery store I used to work at when I was in high school. Brings back good memories, but it makes it strange to visit since it wasn’t what it used to be. It’s good that Hobby Lobby chose this location though since the space sat empty for a year or two — I think that was even more depressing to look at since it is the largest retail space in Matthews Corners.
I’m usually and «in-​and-​out» shopper but I can definitely see people getting lost in the vast store of all things hobby related.
