The team at MTB is great. Reno fixed all my issues in a quick efficient manner. Price was great. Will use for everything from now on!

When we had an issue with our furnace we called MTB as they were recommended by a couple of friends. Our experience was great. Fast, courteous, professional service. I would highly recommend MTB.

I have never written a review before but this company is the best. A person always answers the phone and you get an immediate response to your question. today Bryan came to do my bi-​yearly AC check up at my house. He arrived and spent almost a whole hour making sure the AC was ok. Later something happened and the AC stopped. Bryan was back at my house immediately and worked till he discovered the problem which was minor. Now I am in my cool house and so very grateful for MTB and their care. Bryan’s parting words were «I had to make sure you were ok for the weekend». He was on his way home before he got the call that I needed help. great company!!!

We have used MTB several times over the years — first to check out our HVAC system, then when it wasn’t working as expected they replaced some ductwork (okay, all the ductwork), then a heat pump when that didn’t resolve the issue, then another heat pump a short while later, and finally to expand the ducts in a room when we simply needed more heating/​cooling than we currently had. Put another way: We have spent a good deal of time and money with them.
It is certainly possible to look at this and say «well, perhaps they kept missing the mark». And perhaps they did. Or perhaps we solved one problem, and kept uncovering others.
As we are not the experts in this field, I don’t necessarily know the answer, but I do feel comfortable with the information provided by MTB, and the work that they did, and where they have left us. It would certainly be nice if we didn’t have to spend the money we did, but based on quotes from other companies, the amount they charged is not unrealistic, nor is the timeframe to do the work, so we can’t complain about anything there.
Unfortunately, they seem to be a bit better when it comes to replacing systems than when it comes time to fixing them. I completely get that when the heat is on (insert Glenn Frey soundtrack as needed), you get more people calling, and that you might have to wait longer than when there isn’t as much demand. However, it seems that MTB isn’t quite as responsive as other companies in this regard, but there have been times when we have called others, and they have responded in a more timely fashion — even late in the day, on holidays, etc — and they have come out much more quickly than MTB, so when it comes to replacement, we may call MTB. When it comes to repair, we may call someone else.

Barbara, the person who answered the phone, tried to help me trouble shoot the problem so i wouldn’t have to pay a repair bill. Who does that? She tried hard to figure out a way to fix it and had great ideas. I give these guys 5 starts before they even get here. If their on-​site service is half as good as their phone service, I’ll recommend them to anyone. This is the reason I stay clear of the big name HVAC companies.

Great service and very professional. I had no AC, Eric the tech arived during the quoted time frame and had it cleaned and fixed within an hour. He had on his truck all the parts needed. I fully expected to not have air for another day and being told he would have to get parts and come back but he had everything. I felt the price was fair considering the temperature and the fact it has to be fixed. I felt it was a bargain and it’s fixed. When you need a professional, call a professional company.

What an impressive crew MTB has. My sales guy was extremely knowledgable and honest. They went above and beyond to accommodate me and get us on the schedule quickly due to the heat and my unit needing to be replaced. Van and jimmy showed up for the install and were excellent. They cleaned up after themselves and worked hard to get everything completed in a timely manner. The girls at the office are so friendly and helpful. All around excellent experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better service provider. A++ all the way around. They didn’t miss a thing. It’s the package deal at MTB.

Our HVAC system was installed by MTB (selected by our contractor) when our home was built in 2004. We have maintained an annual service agreement with MTB since then. The unit for our second floor stopped working last night. I called MTB this morning (Tuesday) at 7:30AM and was told they could not get to us until Saturday. After some research, I called a smaller and more customer service oriented company and was told they would have someone to our home today, but that it might be after 5PM. I completely understood since they were working us into their daily schedule and we currently have no service relationship with them. A service technician called at 3:20PM to let us know they were on the way and our HVAC unit was up and running an hour later. MTB has lost us as a customer due to lack of customer service.

So disappointed. We researched and read great reviews so thought we were making a great decision. Boy, were we wrong! This company gives HORRIBLE customer service!!! We called them to schedule a maintenance check-​up since our AC was having trouble keeping up with our set temperature upstairs. We took the first appointment, which was 1 week away. The day before our appointment, the technician called wanting to know what was wrong with our AC. Umm, that’s why I called them, so they could tell me what was wrong and hopefully fix it! We told them our issue and they said our issue was normal and wanted us to cancel the appointment. We said no because we wanted to make sure our AC would last the summer. They changed our appointment time but said they would come out. On the morning of the appointment, we received a call saying they were canceling. They asked if we wanted to reschedule for the next available appointment, which was in 2 weeks. We said NO WAY! We now have an appointment with another, more customer-​friendly company.

No one wants to pay for HVAC work but it is a lot easier when a professional like Lamar comes out to do it. He is very knowledgable and personable. My husband insisted I make sure Lamar was scheduled to do our yearly service and I can see why. He is a tremendous asset to your company and is the reason we continue to use MTB. You should try to clone him.

Our AC stopped working the day after I gave birth to my baby at home. It was pretty warm outside so it made our house very uncomfortable to stay in, especially considering we had a newborn! We called MTB Mechanical and they came to check things out. Told us the fix would normally be like over $ 700, but since we hadn’t been informed by our builder of maintenance services available to our area, they gave us a break. We signed up for their service for $ 20 a month, and in exchange they fixed our AC for no additional charge. Such an awesome deal, and the guy was honest and helpful. I never once felt like I was being conned out of money or anything like that. And we haven’t had any problems since!

Used MTB because we were under warranty with new home. Took 3 weeks and 4 visits for them to diagnose and repair a problem with heater. Had to buy portable heaters for home. They had no empathy or concern about the amount of time this took nor the temperatures in my house.

My experience with this company has been horrible. They installed a new Lennox A/​C unit at my house six weeks ago and have been out to fix it four times. It didn’t work for a week after the initial install and continues to freeze up on the hottest weeks of the summer. The A/​C quit again yesterday so I called and was told someone would come by our house between 5−9pm. I began calling around 7:30pm for fear no one would show up. The operator told me to wait for a call from the technician. I waited for an hour and called back only to be told again he would call. I finally received a call from Darrell who told me he had too many service calls and wouldn’t be coming out to look at the issue. Not only did he ignore the service request from earlier that day, he was rude to both me and my wife on the phone. Basically he told us he had a lot of calls and showed no empathy for our situation nor apologized for the company’s poor customer service. Please stay away from MTB or you may have the same regrettable situation I’m currently experiencing.

We’re still under a 2 – 10 Home Warranty when we purchased our home in October 2013. I contacted them for the soonest appointment when our brand new AC unit went out on a Friday morning. THEIR home warranty company’s soonest time they could send someone out was next Wednesday! NO WAY! I even told them I had asthma and it made no difference. It was not worth my health, time or money to stay w/​their «in network contractor.» I said the heck with that and found my own, MTB.
I like to work with local businesses so I took a chance calling MTB. Brent was wonderful to talk to. After telling him my story with the Home Warranty company, he said he could have someone out the next day to look at our AC unit. Travis, the tech who came out was wonderful. Very professional, polite and did a through examination. As a consumer, I like to be treated with respect and I was by this fine company from start to finish. I will be doing all my HVAC business with MTB and referring them to friends and neighbors.
P. S. Brent actually pointed out that this would probably be still be under the actual new AC warranty but we couldn’t locate the papers with the house purchase! He pointed out that it would be much better for us to do it that way instead of having them come out and us pay for it. I loved his honesty. It was well worth it.

I can’t say enough great things about the entire operation from the receptionist to the work performed!
My elderly father lives in Belmont and has been without air for almost a year. He has had 4 different local companies come over the past year to repair his air-​condition. Each of these companies has «repaired the problem» and charged him for the repairs. I called MTB, and it was a pleasant experience from the 1^st call. The unit had to be replaced and they were up-​front and honest about the problems that should have been found by others. The representative that came to the house to assess the unit and give the quote took the time to call and talk to me, because I could not be there. They gave us a price and did not charge us by the hour; the final bill was just as we were told.
Van and Bradley were the company representatives that installed the new air and were so polite to my father, and cleaned after them self’s on the entire job, inside and out. They even moved the thermostat to the main floor for my father’s convenience and took their time to teach him how to use it.
Would definitely recommend and will call for any future service!!!

We have been using MTB for the last 3 years as they had to clean up the mess from some bozo company — we always ask for one specific tech (Lamar) as he is as best as it gets. The whole company has been nothing but fantastic for us and absolutely no «upselling». Honest and ethical are the two words that come to mind — and yes I am a unbiased customer. Thank you.

I was having an issue with my A/​C during the memorial day weekend and had contacted several companies to take a look at the issue at hand. Needless to say, the first 2 well known companies in the area were wanting an arm and a leg to fix a compressor that was under warranty. From the moment I contact MTB I felt that I was in good hands. The front office person worked with me and offered me a free second opinion, which I thought was outstanding. The technician (Chuck Pesta) came to my home and was very professional and thorough. When Chuck explained everything to me to include the warranty process, I was impressed. Even more impressive was they MTB was 20% lower in price than the quote I received from Morris Jenkins and 45% lower than Brothers Air. This company is A+, the technician is A+ and i would recommend MTB Mechanical to anyone at anytime.

These folks are fantastic service providers. I have used them back to when they were Miller refrigeration and the service has been excellent for at least the 16 years I have been their customer.
Only once has a technician misdiagnosed a problem that did not go away and the manager made the repairs needed at no cost and apologized for my trouble.
I recommend MTB to everyone that I know.

Had MTB over for the Heating system check up as part of our yearly Energy Savings Agreement. Their tech arrived on time and did a great job. He said everything was fine with the system and did not try to sell us anything else. Very pleased with the service.
