My husband and I visited Paintball Central in October through a deal I found on . This deal included 3 hours of paintball, a BBQ from Tipton’s BBQ and S’mores. I was very, VERY nervous about this adventure. I read up online to wear long sleeves and long pants to cover your arms and legs. On arrival, we were outfitted with our equipment: masks, paintball loaders, high-pressure air tanks, with unlimited air refills, 500 paintballs per team, and of course, paintball guns. After learning the basics on safety, we were broken up into 6 teams of 16 people. Then we were let loose on the three fields. One was filled with bunkers, one had a big wooden castle and lots of natural vegetation, and the other had grass and many dirt mounds which ended up being ant hills(I found that out after hiding on one and getting eaten by a million ants. That’s what I get for being chicken). For anyone who is nervous about getting hit with a paintball, like me, I will say it stung but that’s about it. I got hit several times and had a small red mark for a few hours. Nothing to cry about. The staff at Paintball Central consisted of several young guys who seemed to really love paintball and knew good tips and pointers to help first timers. They were also the refs/judges and time keepers. Everyone was very professional. We would definitely go back to paintball central be it on our own or with friends. It was a great activity for such a large group.
