This Palm Beach Tan use to be the best one in Charlotte in my opinion. The staff is still very sweet but the bed i was put in on Sunday was T-​total crap. The bottom of the bed was so cracked i could feel it in my back as i lay there. The controls did not work at all and the blower would not increase or decrease in control. Afterward, no additional color at all. What a waste of time and money. Good thing there is a Palm Beach on each corner, ill be going anywhere but here from now on!

Just remember tanning lotion is cheaper online than in any tanning salon.

Overall a very clean and friendly place. I have been a member off and on for years, their prices are pretty good (compared to other large chains) but they will get you with up-​selling and of course I give in easily.
They have good hours and you can use any of the locations in the country. Overall good deal!

Okay, okay, okay I know tanning is bad — but this Cali girl likes to get some color on here and there!!! But I do tan to keep my eczema in control and tanning does just that.
I really like this salon — I checked out other companies near by, but really like this company. The prices are high compared to San Diego (yes San Diegans use tanning salons too), but I can see why. I and I see plenty of people that should get some color — way too transparent.
I also like their Mystic for the quick color when needed!
Everyone here is very helpful and remember your name and for me, what room I prefer. The rooms, the bathrooms, and overall salon is always very clean and well organized.
It makes me happy when I look down at my legs and see color — I was bummed when I moved here because it is just too damn hot to lay out… I miss my beaches.
