The lady working is soooo nice, and the dry cleaning is priced very reasonably (much lower than other places I’ve used around Charlotte). I highly recommend this place!

My husband left two pairs of brand new pants to be hemmed that were in perfect condition. When I went to pick them up one pair had a snag in the pant leg. The Vietnamese woman that was on the counter started screaming at me that she knew nothing about the snag. She offered no apologizes but kept screaming at me. She grabbed the pants from me and I had to forcefully remove her hand from the pants. I paid for the full hem alteration and told her that neither I or my husband would ever do business with them again and that she had ruined a pair of pants. This business is not trust worthy or honorable.

I have been on the hunt for a while for a place to get some heels repaired. When I worked uptown, there were a lot of options — but in my neighborhood they are hard to come by!
I finally took a pair to Sam’s (located in Downtown Matthews). The lady working at the front (maybe the owner) was so friendly, such a breath of fresh air!
I also had some dry cleaning — the cost to replace my heel tips, 2 pairs of pants and a shirt dry cleaned was only 18 and some change. Very very reasonable!
This is my new go-​to dry cleaner (and shoe repair) to support a really friendly local business!
