Almost too good to be true – $ 15 tickets! Watching an excellent production of «Harvey» in an old church turned playhouse in the picturesque village of Mattituck. Before being seated we were shown the ice-cream bar and told to help ourselves to a free sundae. There was also coffee and great homemade cookies at intermission for $ 1. After the play they were selling chances for the oil painting of «Harvey and Elwood P. Dowd» that was used as a prop in the play. I really am hoping I win it. There’s a very old cemetery,(1700’s), next to the church/theatre to wander through after the performance, and you are surrounded by the beautiful North Fork of Long Island with all it’s attractions.
