*** This is a repost as I merged profiles. The original is from July of 2015 and the owner responded apologetically and is looking into things. I will defnitely go back and try again! This tasting room has so much potential… However, when you buy a bottle of white, are given an ice bucket, and then told«to go across the street and buy your own bag of ice» it is a little off putting. Once we got over that(we decided we’d drink it inside before it got too hot), we ordered the advertised $ 10 pizza special from Lombardi’s across the street(yes, the same place that sells ice). When the pizza arrived about 15 minutes later, we were handed the pizza in the box. No paper plates, no napkins. When we asked, we did get plates. And a roll of paper towels. Okay, so the pizza is AMAZING(nice job Lombardi’s) and the wine was successfully consumed before getting warm, and on our way out we consolidated all of our trash(pizza box, paper towels and plates) and carried it all to the bar area to be helpful. And then were told«we don’t have trash cans, you can take you trash down the street as there are trash cans out there». Seriously? It would not take much to invest in a cooler of ice, some paper napkins and a trash can. Oh, and the outdoor seating overlooking the parking lot is a little depressing.

It’s another perfect spot in Love Lane. Lovely service, some of the best table wines on the North Fork, and a great place to gather with friends for a tasting, a glass, or a shared bottle and some games. Grab a launch or early dinner at Lombardi’s and bring it over for the perfect pairing.

Not so crazy about this place. I think the wine is mediocre, the service lackadaisical, and the ambiance poor.

Stopped here with a friend and our pups to have a glass of wine while we waited to go eat somewhere. The hostess was warm and welcoming. She brought us a cool bowl of water for our dogs and had a wealth of knowledge to share. I’m not big on wine but the Brio was so delicious I had to buy a bottle! Looking forward to going back for another leisure day to enjoy another glass of great wine

What a nice experience! Came in 15 minutes before closing and Robin was fantastic! She gave great wine info and great restaurant recommendations! Really enjoyed our time there and bought 2 great bottles of wine. Will be back!

Love this cute little spot! They have an entire wall of wines and daily tastings. Went there with a few people and the woman assisting us had patience for sure bc we went in there like animals, she was awesome and friendly she even helped us figure out where to go after ! Small seating inside but there is a outdoor seating area in the back and old school games(including mancala!) were inside.

One of my favorite places to go. Robin or the other lovely employees hook you up with the perfect wines, and you can get your dog groomed across the street at the great Groom N’ Gear. The Love Lane Sweet Shoppe is a few steps away and has everything you could ever want in candy and gifts. It makes for a great summer afternoon.

This was a cute shop on Love Lane right in the main area of Mattituck. However, this is NOT Roanoke Vineyards — which is actually down the road. This is an extension of their vineyards, but is only a wine shop with tastings. We stumble upon Roanoke Vineyards because of the annual Mattituck Chamber of Commerce Street Fair, which had several vendors right on Love Lane. In front of the shop, they were sampling their Dry Apple and Rosé ciders, both were amazing. We stepped inside, and purchased wine tastings, as if we were visiting the vineyards themselves. $ 10 for 4 tastings. I don’t want to give any flavor profiles away, …however, I will say we were fortunate enough to try their Landius Malbec, which they don’t normally open for tastings. It was decadent. All the wines we tried were great, not too dry, and a eclectic but delicious flavor profile. At the end, we chose to purchase the two 4-packs of the Rosé Cider from Wolffer Estate(part of Roanoke) for $ 16/4-pack, and a bottle of one of their table wines. The girl working behind the counter definitely knew her wines, and was helpful in guiding us. It was a great experience, and she also had great recommendations of other area wineries to try. Highly recommend stopping in.
