Ate lunch here earlier today. I ordered a grilled cheese with pesto and it was so good. The pesto tasted fresh and the tomato was perfect. The food was really great. Our server was very nice, although she was very confused on which dish was which when she got to the table. She made up for it by being incredibly kind and attentive.

Little pricy on some things, but its worth it! Ill go there just for coffee/latte but their food is excellent also. They have a nice tasty selection of pastries, and its a really nice atmosphere for any occasion.

This is the worst coffee shop ever hands down. You would be better off going to McDonald’s in this town for coffee. Better yet go to Charleston just a few miles away to Starbucks.

I tend to go here on a fairly regular basis although I had a couple of bad experiences initially that kept me away for a while(closing early on the day before a holiday just because they were slow and running out of dairy alternatives). I’m used to living in a larger city though and for this area, this is the best coffee shop around. They also have pretty good food. Much better than anything else in the area. I don’t like chain restaurants and coffee shops and this place has a unique homey décor that is very comfortable and the staff is very friendly as well. I don’t get why some people say it’s pricey. That’s just how much real coffee is today unless you’re used to gas station coffee or something. My only complaint is that I was surprised one weekend when I was there and they closed at 5PM. Closing at 5 on weekends seems really early. If anything, they should at least be open til 11 or so, but I“m used to coffee shops in large cities that stay open late or 24 hours.

Nice place. Pleasant atmosphere. Clean. Nice variety. All coffee types, lots of tea. Adequate selection of baked goods, and now cheese curds too!

Very good coffee drinks– but really pricey. And this is coming from someone who doesn’t mind paying starbucks prices. I am a bit confused on the delivery options. They say they deliver but when I asked about it the staff said it depends who is there in the shop at the time. So I have never tried to have it delivered. Wish there was a drive through.

I do like this place for a coffee shop, however it is really pricey! I like the atmosphere. The iced caramel latte was delicious. The staff was friendly. Just a little too pricey for me.

Love the atmosphere here! The interior has a cool, artsy bohemian feel and the coffee is great! Much better than Starbuck’s! Great place to study, work or just hang out and chill.

This is my «Go To» stop when I am in town. The décor feels like home and every food or beverage I have had, I have liked! And, the owner is super sweet!(pun intended)

It’s a nice little coffee shop with good coffee and decent food. It’s worth going to just for the atmosphere though. It has a real coffee shop atmosphere and is very enjoyable. Easy to study at as well. I really do enjoy this place! I went here with friend often before moving states away. I recommend there signature coffee.

Well… the benefit of having low expectations for a cup of coffee is that you can’t be let down… unfortunately, fancy wall art doesn’t make the product any better.

Picking a cool name and decorating your downtown shop all hipster doesn’t make you a great coffee house. Hiring wanna-be Baristas that don’t even know the roaster name, much less the source of the coffee beans certainly doesn’t help your legitimacy either. If you are the least bit coffee snobbish, stay away, you will be severely disappointed. If you load your cheap coffee with cream and sugar to kill the taste of bad coffee, then by all means drink away.

Great coffee shop in the old«downtown» Mattoon. I was really impressed with the drink and food choices. Lots of good wraps, salads and desserts. The Chai tea was a nice treat as well. It looked like many families drop in for lunch after church. I even overheard a young man telling his toddler that’s where he and his wife had their first date. Clearly a good option for a local hangout. The staff was so sweet! The wraps and croissant sandwiches came out nice and quick as well!
