The Jewish Community Center

This really isn’t a review. But…
Um… What? I thought when we were there that i was the only jew in Mattoon. Apparently some have moved in. There goes the neighborhood. Now there are going to be kosher chinese restaurants and hebrew schools popping up everywhere. Looks like i wont be as special when we go visit from now on. Unless this is more of a center for people who support the idea of jewish people, rather than a place for jewish people. Maybe it is like a museum. Like when you go to an aquarium in Ohio or something. Maybe it is just hypothetical, like should jewish people live here, here is the building that would host their center… I doubt we will ever know. It keeps the mystery alive as long as i don’t research it.
