The sub was okay. The bread fresh and lightly toasted, the lettuce and tomato was fresh. But, the «steak» on my steak and cheese was the stuff you get from the freezer section of the grocery store– Steak Ums. Not so good. Especially when they are charging $ 8 for the sandwich.
The cashier was the opposite of friendly and welcoming. And, the staff, as mentioned in the earlier reviews, did make the subs with no gloves. To me, clean hands are as good as gloves, but if you prefer gloved hands, you might want to avoid SSII.

The sandwiches here are fine, but OMG, please put some gloves on when you are putting toppings on a sandwich! I’ve only eaten here once, and the lady adding the lettuce, tomatoes, etc., to the sandwiches was doing this BARE HANDED. It really put me off ever eating here again. Still, people have bad days, and forget things sometimes because they are human. So I walked past this place Friday night and looked in the window. There was a guy — not the same lady as when I ate here before — making a sandwich, putting on toppings bare freakin’ handed! So, that cemented the fact that I will never eat at this place again.
