My to-go order was great and they got every thing right. The serves was friendly as usual and the food of course delicious. I was highly satisfied!

I go for lunch or dinners there. Love the atmosphere and the store. The staff are very nice and personable. Food is not great but good. Not pricey, which is a big plus. Nice place to go if your looking for good comfort food.

Not a fan of breakfast there. Gravy and bisc had no meat. Hash brown size was next to nothing. Won’t ever go back for breakfast.

Went in to place a to-go order. Was told to wait in the gift shop area. After waiting for 45 minutes, a waitress(not the hostess or cashier who saw me waiting for 45 minutes) decided to check the kitchen. Sure enough my food was there which took all of 13 minutes to prepare. So they wasted over 30 minutes of my time watching me wait for my food which was very very cold and congealed by the time I got to eat it. I can understand how mistakes happen. But if the hostess is staring at you for 45 minutes, you’d think she would at least ask what’s up. I’m very very disappointed with the neglect I was shown here, and I will never eat here nor at any Cracker Barrel again.

As I was eating it, I thought the apple dumplin may be the best dessert in America. Happy girl!

Solid breakfast food as always. Nice and close to the freeway, and the townies nice enough plus very safe. Can’t go wrong with this chain. Good home cooked type food, good service and manageable prices. We stopped on our road trip to NYC. Pancakes, grits, home fries all delish. Coffee was uplifting and bottomless.

A nice basic place, the chain seeming to produce a lot of consistency in their restaurants. I like this better than my wife does. Not liking grits doesn’t help me, as everything seems to come with it on the breakfast menu. But it’s sort of an ok place when you’re traveling and need to stop for a break.

I would like to thank our server here for giving such great service. I left New Hampshire at 5pm. I drove through the night, stopping only once for gas, with three friends. They slept. As I pulled into Cracker Barrel, thirteen hours later, bleary-eyed, all I wanted was a nap. And I got one. I ordered a biscuit, one egg, and some coffee. After one sip of the coffee my friends took it away from me. I had been drinking energy drinks all night. I needed no more caffeine. So I switched to water. And before the food had even arrived, I set my head on the table and was out. I remember taking a bite of the egg before we left, and thankfully it wasn’t my turn behind the wheel anymore. But really, to the server who let me nap on her table, I’d like to say thanks for being gracious and letting me sleep!

Cracker Barrel is home-style food at its best. Most importantly, this is home-cooked food that is BETTER than I can make it at home.(There are some home-style restaurants that leave me thinking, «Why did I come here? I could have made this myself at home.») Stick to the classics and you will not be disappointed: eggs, bacon, pancakes, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, open-faced roast beef, soups, etc. It is all good. However, I have to draw special attention to the amazing«Homemade Chicken n’ Dumplins», which are the best thing on Earth on a cold winter day. You get two sides with the platters, so there is no reason to leave hungry. Also, for my money, you can’t beat the big fireplace that makes the place smell awesome. To top off a great experience, I always like getting some old-fashioned candy in the«general store» up front before paying the bill. One caveat: you will probably be surrounded by wall-to-wall old people. No kidding, it always looks like a nursing home cafeteria. Apparently, I am the only dude under 60 who likes this kind of food. No matter. I am determined to make Cracker Barrel cool again. Who’s with me?!

My dad and I went out of our way to get to this Cracker Barrel. We were driving to Chicago on I-90 when we saw a sign with directions to this particular location, so we went off-course and drove through the glorious town of Maumee to get there. Like Anthony K. said, if you’ve been to one Cracker Barrel, you’ve been to them all. This location isn’t any different: the gift shop in the front had some interesting stuff, the layout was exactly like other Cracker Barrels, and the food was good. I ordered pecan pancakes(which were really delicious, by the way) and hash browns. The waitress brought sausages instead. After I corrected her mistake, the waitress refused to address me anymore. She’d talk directly to my dad as if I were an invalid. After he finished his meal, my dad went outside to smoke a cig. When the waitress stopped at the table and saw that my dad wasn’t there, she gave me a semi-dirty look and walked away. Whatever.

If you don’t like southern food, don’t bother coming here. I come here for the fried okra, catfish fillet and cornbread. If I listed everything I liked here, it would just be a long list of common foods that they know how to make better. But that’s not all, looking at the building you imagine Huck Finn sitting on a chair in the front next to the old style Coca-Cola machine. In fact, if you are a Coca-Cola collector, they have plenty of memorabillia here. Because when a table isn’t available, you aren’t just sitting around waiting to see people walk out the door, there is the old country store that sells candy and collectors items. I even got caught up playing checkers on a display set and almost missed the table reservation. But if you been to one Cracker Barrel you have been to them all.
