Harms Carpet One

Having purchased a new house in Maumee, I wanted to utilize area businesses for the finishing touches to my new home. Needing carpet for the downstairs and the hardwoods cleaned and sealed, I went to Unilocal to search for a reputable company. As always, I read reviews and try to make a good decision.
Oh how I wish I had taken more stock in Bree R.‘s review! The store itself is pleasant and well displayed. The CSRs are nice people who seem to know what they are doing and genuinely are interested in your flooring plans.
It has been weeks of phone tag, and I still don’t have carpet and my hardwoods are still unsealed. The only time progress has been made has been when I have visited the store in person and ‘harassed’ the personnel. I had to visit twice just to get an appointment for measurements.
Today I called and informed them I have been waiting a week for the ‘hardwood guy’ to call and set up my appointment to get my floors sealed. If he didn’t call today (they are open until 8pm on Mondays), I would assume they don’t want my business, and take it elsewhere.
Guess who never called, even after leaving a voice mail with both gentleman on the hardwood floor team?
Save yourself the headaches and wasted time and DO NOT go to Harms.

My husband and I were looking to carpet our whole upstairs. We went and picked our carpet that we liked and we’re very pleased with the customer service. A gentlemen was sent to our home and took measurments. After that point I felt like we were begging them to continue to move forward with things. My husband would call and they «looked into things» but never called back. He then stopped in and they «lost our measurments». We genuinely wanted to work with this business and had cash in hand, but it seemed odd to have to feel like I was begging for a service. Sadly we had to go with another provider for carpet.

I needed new carpet for my business several years ago, and Jake and his team did a fantastic job. They provided a quality product at a reasonable price. It looks as good today as the day it was installed. He team was fast and efficient and cleaned up after themselves once they were complete. I’ll be re-​carpeting the bedrooms at my home this year and will definitely use Harms.
