Stewart’s ice cream is always pretty good. And their gas prices are typically competitive. And they have their own brand of soft drinks. They have their own brand of ice cream. In fact — they have tons of crap that is stewart’s brand. Think convenience store/hard ice cream shoppe. Also gas station etc… Takes credit card — which apparently is a boon to find in Northern Fulton County. Carries beer, lotto, magazines, etc… Has some nasty wrapped sandwiches for sale. Overall an ok place to stop and get stuff from. Very conveniently located on Route 30. Careful in general as its well known that no one that lives near there uses a signal light. In fact one must wonder if any of them even have signal lights.

The bagel and cream cheese I got wrapped in plastic was burned and hard but pretty satisfying. They need a better beer selection though. And it is possibly the only place around that takes credit cards, so yay.

Mmmmmmmmmm Milkshakes. Mmmmmmmmmmm ice cream. Fond memories of stopping at this Stewart’s Shop During Driver’s Ed, on the way to class in the morning, and even during a huge power outage when we were having tornado warnings. Good old Stewart’s is always there. During Driver’s Ed, we would stop there for our break. They guys would always buy beef jerky even though it was 8 am and there is nothing like being stuck in a car full of boys who just ate beef jerky. I used to stop there for breakfast on the way to class. They have excellent cinnamon rolls, a very healthy way to start your day. I even got caught there when I was supposed to be in class during my Senior Year. Nothing like sitting in your friends car to look over and see the Vice-Principal of the school staring back at you. No worries, I got out of it with my detention free record untarnished. During the power outage, they stayed open and wrote down each transaction by hand by the light of a flashlight. Now that is dedication.
