Massagevisits

I had the pleasure of a massage on a recent visit to the area — after a strong recommendation from my sister. Loved it! David worked on one area of my back at a time, with a good pressure, then moved on to shoulders and legs, giving me a full hour. It felt really restorative, not only for muscles but also for circulation. I’ll go again next time I’m in Maynard.

David is a great masseur. He uses a deep tissue technique and focuses on problem areas until their better as opposed to going through the same motions and moving on. I always feel better (and a little light headed) when he is done. He offers $ 10 off your first visit which is a great deal. He is also friendly to talk to. It is very easy to make an appointment with him because he not only responds to e-​mails but you can also book appointments via text message. I have seen David twice now and have every intention of returning soon. While he doesn’t advertise prenatal massage (he doesn’t currently have the special pregnancy table) he has certainly helped a lot with the aches and pains of my second pregnancy (we just use extra pillows to compensate for the belly). I will say he has helped more than the prenatal massage place I went to in Boston for my first pregnancy who also charged a lot more. One thing to note is that he does not accept credit cards. But there is both a Bank of America and a Citizens Bank down the street.
