Ok don’t ask me why I gave this place another shot. I was starving and shirt in time I guess. So I’m sitting at my table taking a bite of what turned out to be cold chicken I just got from the buffet and I see the boss lady walking by. Through the Asian smoked glass I see her lean over and spit into the bus pan there full of dirty dishes. Never again.

Absolutely nasty!!! Boyfriend and I walked in and noticed all the fish were gone from the tank. Lesson 1. They couldn’t keep their fish alive, hmmm. Sat down, ordered drinks. Went to sushi bar, where the sushi maker was very sweet. Looked around, nothing appealed to me. Anyway, sat down and took one bite of the sushi and it tasted bad. Fresh fish should not taste fishy. We went to pay and left.

The only time I could see myself returning to this place is if I was under the influence of drugs AND alcohol. The décor was nice. Twice during my meal, I spit the food out of my mouth into a napkin. I had reasonable expectations for this place, yet I left extremely disappointed.

I have been to many of these places before and this spot definitely ranks on the low end. The restaurant was clean enough and the service was good. The food was not that great.

Let me start off by agreeing that yes, there are a variety of food to choose from and plenty of vegetarian options for those interested. There are soups, salads, fruits, cakes, and ice cream. Made to order hibachi items and sushi. Beverages are not included in the price! Décor was nice. Mix of Chinese and Japanese. Buffet laid out with ample space to walk. Dining rooms were not dirty but dishes weren’t cleared from tables in a timely manner. One of the hostesses is very rude! Would not let me look for my party then would not let me preview the buffet after I saw that I was the first in my party to arrive. She said I wasn’t planning on eating there anyway so why look at the food. Another hostess asked me how many people in my party, I said I wasn’t sure because people may be bringing other friends. I didn’t want to guess because I didn’t want to switch tables due to number of people. The first hostess was still complaing about me. Then I was really upset so said the only reason she was rude was because business was good, otherwise she would be polite. She said yes business was good! At this point a man with a tie(manager or boss) came out of the dining room and apologized to me. He said I could look around and preview food. He told the rude hostess to go sit down and stoop talking. I waited outside. I could see from the window those two were arguing about me as she was pointing at me and the manager gestured for her to stop. Soon my 3 friends came, they brought 2 additional people. We were seated and the service was mediocre. Server didn’t have experience. Food was fine, nothing special. Only Chinese buffet with American food in town so people are there. I would not go again because of service.

This place has really gone downhill lately. We used to come here all the time. Last time we went was probably the last. First, they sat us at a dirty table. I moved the table myself. The food wasn’t very good. Almost everything I took was bad tasting or off somehow. They had just mopped the bathrooms, no wet floor signs, I took a skid. I had to flag down the host to get refills. When the bill came, the waitress hovered over us until I signed the check. Then on my way out, an employee runs out and ask me if I paid. I showed him my receipt. Three times. He didn’t seem to understand that I paid for this horrid experience. Save your self some trouble and look elsewhere for Chinese buffet. I miss Sharon Zhangs.

We used to go here a lot but haven’t been recently. I just happened to suggest we go tonight. What a disappointment on all levels. There is quite a variety of food but it doesn’t taste good like it used to. I went to the bathroom & the floors were all wet — more wet then looking freshly mopped. They had a big fan there to dry them. The men & women’s bathroom doors were both open so you could see in one from the other. When we got seated there was food on the seat so we moved to the next booth. Both seats were all ripped but we sat there anyway. Our server wouldn’t refill our drinks. We each had about an inch left & he looked at our table at least 4 times then disappeared for awhile. We had to ask the manager for more soda. As soon as I sat with my plate of dessert they put the bill on the table. My husband gave his credit card. When the server returned with the check she stood there watching him fill it out. I hate that. As we were walking out & about half way to our car the male server was yelling at us to stop because he claimed we didn’t pay our bill. My husband showed him the receipt but he kept trying to get us to come back in to pay anyway.

Honestly what can you say about a Chinese buffet? It’s cheap, there’s a variety of food and it’s all you can eat. So I can’t give it a bad review. It’s a decent buffet and it’s not dirty. Staff is as friendly as any Chinese buffet you’ll go to. They have plenty of room for guests/parties and etc. Foods to avoid… Sushi — it just taste plain gross… does not taste like sushi at all. So if you’re thinking about a cheap place for sushi go somewhere else. Soup — the soups here are either watered down or chock full of salt. Non of the soups here taste authentic and I’ve had better soups from other tiny take out places.

I went to this hibachi on a whim back around 2009 or 2010 and I became a big fan ever since. The food selection here is amazing. From seafood to deserts and the food is always fresh. They have cooks constantly refreshing the buffet selections and refilling your drinks. If I had one thing that I could consider a quirk about this place is that the staff is rarely friendly. I mean, they aren’t openly rude or disrespectful, but they always seem like they’d rather be somewhere else. When you respond with«please» and«thank you», they rarely bother to acknowledge you — this includes when you tip the servers, which realistically only refill drinks and take away dishes. I’m not sure if it’s maybe a cultural thing that I’m missing or if the staff really is that ornery, but at least the food and prices are that good that you can go and try to interact as little as possible with the staff.

The absolute worst food I have ever tried to eat, everything had a chemical taste to it, gross, nasty, inedible, never come here.

Large variety of choices. Most items are ok & fresh. Lots of sauces, salt, oil, calories & fat. Perfect place if you are breaking your diet and want to pig out. Interior is nicely decorated with comfortable tables & chairs. They seem to take pride in cleanliness, & make sure food temperatures are safe. Healthy/vegan items are mixed in.

I am perplexed at some of the negative reviews for this place as my dining experiences here {all recent} have been good to great. The selection is plentiful, prices reasonable, and all of the food I had was delicious. Perhaps some of those ‘pithy’ reviews had their intended effect and some changes for the better were made? The salmon I had was excellent — tasting like high quality Pacific Northwest or Sockeye salmon which is superior to The Atlantic variety {trust me I know what good salmon tastes like}. The breaded squid was good too, and seasoned. They also had some offerings that tend to be absent at most of the other buffets I go to such as Bok Choy, broccoli salad, crab cakes, and so on. Also, most every Chinese buffet I have been to usually charges extra for a soft drink so the objections for having to pay extra for one is a bit foreign from my own experiences. The dessert offerings are rather generic but OK enough. You can help yourself to ice cream sandwiches or cups, cookies, finger cakes, jello, sherbert, and the usual fare. No soft serve ice cream is to be had however. Service is adequate enough as well. I have eaten here several times this summer and not once did I have any issues with the food. Personally recommended as one of the better American Chinese buffets in the region.

I came here after a long hot day of work so I wasn’t that hungry. But when I came there I was surprised to see that they have crawfish and it was actually really good. Everything else I ate was also yummy. Only bad dish I had was a salmon dish. Also it was pretty darn cheap. Will go again just for the crawfish.

Awful, the hibachi grilled food tastes like the grill(not in a good why) and nasty rancid grease. The buffet food looks like has sat for many hours, the chicken nuggets had become deadly weapons when throw and could cut glass. The bacon wrapped chicken was the only thing that tasted like what it should. Summary– If you are on a diet this buffet is for you; if you have any at all control you will not eat much and if you don’t it will come back up in an hour or so.

Changing prices as I’m sitting down. Very shady. Came with the family to the buffet around 2 pm for lunch. I asked if they are serving lunch and they said yes. As we are eating lunch my wife grabbed some stone crabs and I grabbed some ribs. Immediately a server went to our table stating that we will be charged for dinner price, because the crab and ribs were for dinner not lunch. First of all if the food is out for buffet then is should be available for consumption. Second, it’s 2:30 pm when I grabbed the ribs and my wife grabbed the crabs. 2:30 does not fall within typical dinner hours. Third, there should be a clear sign or the server should inform you what are the dinner items and what are the lunch items. I think it’s shady that after you grab the supposed dinner items and start eating that the staff informs you that you will be charged an additional price. Shady very shady.

I recently went to this buffet and I was impressed. The food is what it is supposed to be. Chinese buffet, not gourmet. But the selection was extensive, the service was good and the place seemed to be clean. \If there was a food that was not good I just didn’t get that again on my second(or third LOL) trip. There were so many foods, that I found lots of things to like. It is what it is, a Chinese buffet. If you go in expecting that you will be plenty pleased!

We came up to AC for the weekend from Baltimore and after a disappointing and literally explosive meal at Caesars which I wont eat again, we attempted to stick to what were familiar with the second night. Needless to say $ 10 bucks isn’t bad for all you can eat so maybe in a way you cant complain but the food here was just below average. A few of the meat choices were dry and my wife’s grilled platter tasted exactly like the grill which was a tun off. The selection was no different than any other Hibachi grill it just seems as though this staff lacks effort when it comes to the preparation of there items. I will give them kudos for a clean establishment and prompt service.
