What a pleasant experience! Just went here for lab work– clean, very friendly and no wait! I was in and out in 10 minutes! I usually despise going to quest but this was a pleasure!

What an archaic computer system Bio Reference has. They allow doctors to transmit test orders without a script, but they have no way of sharing that information by patient name between locations without a doctor giving a physical script.
My dr. based in NYC ordered a stool sample and I picked up the containers from the 31st St NYC location. They told me to drop it off when I filled them up. I finished on a Saturday so I figured since I live near the Maywwod location let me drop it off there to get the tests rolling.
The tech there was insisting that I must have a script from the doctor and argued with me when I told him no. He asked me if I had the doctor’s account number. Why would I have that? Apparently Bio Reference cannot look up the tests your doctor ordered by patient name and DOB. So now my samples will wait all weekend in the back of the fridge until I can go back to the original location to drop of the samples.
If this was something that was time sensitive, I would be totally screwed.
The bad customer service was just icing on the cake at this location. Avoid!
