This is literally the most disgusting place I’ve ever been to. If I could give no stars I would. The place itself looks disgusting. I tried it for the first time yesterday after my friends tried to convince me for hours. When I finally went I shared some asada nachos with my friend and about an hour later I started throwing up. It was literally the worst thing I’ve ever tasted and I will never go there again.

Been coming here since I was a kid and years later I continue to love this place. What’s awesome is that they’re open 24 hours for those late night cravings. They’re pretty speedy when giving out the food. The only complaint that I have is that their salsa is a bland. Cash only. Preferably take out than dine in because the location is open. Good job Azteca keep doing what you’re doing!

There nachos, burritos and tacos are so good. I personally prefer Indio over King taco but that’s just my opinion. They accept cash only and I recommend ordering to go

I have been coming here for over a decade! I absolutely love this place! It is open 24 hours so it is perfect for those crazy weekends after the club. I have had their asada, cabeza, & lengua tacos and burritos. They have wet burritos in very spicy green sauce, they are good but too spicy for my liking. The asada nachos are ok. The nacho cheese is really watered down, but at 3am they may be perfect! Lol. .. My only complaint is that I do not like their cups anymore! A large drink used to be served in very huge cups! & now it seems like the large horchata is a medium one, sooo thumbs down for that!

If you live in Maywood you know this place very well! I been coming here for years and love this place. I always get tacos, burritos, or asada nachos. All the food is reasonably sized portions for the price. This spot is open 24 hrs on Friday and Saturday only so it’s the spot to come to after a night of partying. Would have given this 5 stars but unfortunately they raised the prices twice recently.

It’s great but depends the time you go there. Best time for me is after hours when you’re drunk and hungry the you pay the price in the morning running to the toilet.

I have no problems with this place good food, portions, and prices. Which is better than over priced King Taco. I get the nachos de asada which are yummy I love that their meat is finely chopped which dissolves in your mouth which is the way asada should be. The burrito mojado with chile verde tortilla chips, and salad even better. Their al pastor not that good but I have to admit King taco’s is better. Put it to you this way if you like El Torito or Acapulco’s this isn’t your place. Tip for people who are not from the area if you are use to upscale areas this isn’t your place if you freak out for any little thing… hahaha. These people literally hook it up with the portions for what you pay King taco eat your heart out :0)

They have an old witch as a cashier, she’s really rude and a bitch, I’m never going there again. I’m going to el noa noa tacos on atlantic avenue between 60th and 61st in maywood, about 5 blocks away, the tacos are huge and they have great friendly service, the only bad thing is their always packed.

Yum yum! I love this place, their meat is so flavorful and mouth watering. They cut the meat very thinly so it give it s a nice non-chewy texture. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the aguas are not that good, very watered down, and also everyonce in a while the salsa or meat is a little too salty.

I would come back if the cashier wasn’t such an idiot. The food is good but if the service lacks knowledge. Never coming back to this place, save your time and money king taco is right down the street two blocks away. The one star rating is only because I can’t give them zero.

The quesadilla de carne asada is the best I ever had… I’m a regular here. It’s not the best looking place but it has an A grade by the department of food an health and that’s good enough for me. There are very few restaurants around that even come close to the carne asada flavor!!! The best!

Went here for lunch last week and I definitely wont be back. Its dirty. Lots of flies. One of my friends got horribly sick from the food. There is much better mexican food in the area. Don’t waste your time here.

This review is based off of dozens of visits in the past three years. Let’s give the first award, of many, for CONSISTENCY. Rarely is there an off-night for the burrito-man-or-lady workin’ the meat-zone(that’s what I’m going to call the kitchen). Out of probably 50 burritos, I’ve encountered perhaps 2 that were disappointing(floppy, lacking in stabilizing rice). The rest have been THEBESTOFLOSANGELES. Our second award will be for AFFORDABILITY. I get the veggie burrito(no lechuga) for 3DOLLARS. 3DOLLARSFOR A HUGEMEAL. It’s beans, rice, pico de gallo, a bit of avocado, and cheese, all wrapped up in a perfect-textured tortilla, lightly grilled. Tortillas are one of the most important ingredients to a good burrito, often overlooked. El Indio NAILSIT, MAN. And them beans. They make me want to write letters to my family, telling them they’ve been replaced by hot, delicious beans. Our third award is for AVAILABILITY. 24 hours a day, every day. Right on the corner. There’s always parking. The line is short and the cook is quick-as-F. Our fourth and final award(I’m running out of awards) is for THESAUCE. Red. The red sauce is KINGOF L.A. There is none better. I pride myself on having tried(and continuing to try) a wide swath of taquerias in my never-ending quest for perfection, and I can safely say that El Indio Azteca has hit upon perfection with their red sauce. Their green one is pretty great too, but it’s a bit salty sometimes. I like spice, so know that before you go chuggin’ these down, like a fool. I want to wrap this up(as tight and perfect as they wrap their burritos), so I’ll just tell you it straight. This is the best burrito I’ve found in LA. I take all my friends here to test if they’re really my friends or not. If they like it, I love them. If they don’t, well, no one will find their body.

I was introduced to this place by a friend and have yet not been disappointed. It’s a simple place that offers some decent food. Of course there’s better out there but I have high regards about this place from my experiences here. Wish they had more salsas to choose from. Point is, if you’re hungry you’re gonna enjoy it. I would stick to the tacos though. People end up all disappointed when they start trying other things they don’t know about.

They have the BESTCARNEASADABURRITOS in town. This is what I call REALMEXICANFOOD! I now reside in Moreno Valley, but no burrito compares to the one they serve here. Even my parents miss this place. We used to get our carne asada burritos at least once a week from this place when my parents used to live in Bell. I also like their carnitas burrito, but the way they marinade their carne asada will make you a regular here. Their carne asada is juicy, sliced well(rarely any fat at all), and the seasoning is perfect! I usually order mine w/everything(rice, beans, cilantro and onions) and it rounds out the burrito quite nicely. I like that they put whole beans instead of refried beans in their burrito. Their hot sauce is good too. My husband is not a big fan of Mexican food, but he will make an exception for this carne asada burrito any day — especially if it’s an all beef burrito.

I’ve been here twice now, and I can’t get over how good the food is. Even though all of the seating is outdoors, there is a sense of warmth to the atmosphere, strangely enough. When you walk up to the window to order, you’re always greeted with a warm smile and a genuine appreciation for your business. As you order, no matter how bad your pronunciation is of the food, they don’t seem to judge you(like some places do). I’ve had their Al Pastor and Carnitas Burritos, both were stellar. They include a chili sauce inside the burrito that separates their recipe from the rest out there. If you’re not that much into spice and want to try it out without the risk of burning up too much, have them give you the sauce on the side so you can eat at your own pace. For the sauce lovers, order the sauce on the side and dip the burrito in it for extra saucy goodness. Their Nachos Especial is to die for. The cheese they use is, again, saucy, very flavorful, and has a very good texture to hit every last chip in the tray. The carnitas are plentifully scattered atop the chips to add an even more pleasurable crunching experience. Even though Maywood is considerably out of my way, this seems to be the one and only spot for good, honest Mexican food. Oh, and In case you didn’t know already… it’s open 24 hours. 5 Stars.
