Pretty amazing customer service! I was researching an uncommon shaped mason jar online and couldn’t find it at any retailers. Amazon was charging eight dollars for delivery, and every other place that carried it wasn’t able to deliver it in the time that I needed it with reasonable shipping charges. On the ace website they indicated that this location had the mason jars. So I called and they were able to set some aside for me but I needed 60 total. They offered to order them and would be in for me and the next day! I found it so helpful and they were very friendly… good old-fashioned customer service. The shop may be a little bit messy with dust on some shelves but the people there were very nice and I was able to get my jars and not pay shipping by the time I needed them.

i was looking for several items and decided to call, wednesday, 9÷11÷13, ACEHARDWARE in maywood. i was put on hold for 3 minutes. by the time they were back on the phone, i was told by JC that they were about to close and could not help me because the register was down. he took down my number and promised to call the next day. i never heard from him. so i called and spoke to OSCAR and he was quite professional and took down my order and promised the item would be there friday, 9÷13÷13. i thought it was great and said i’d be saturday, 9⁄14. when i walked into the hardware store, one of the employees was a personal call and was cursing up a storm!!! since he was on a platform i looked up to let him know that we can hear him. anyhow, that same employee«helped» me and said my items were not ordered because the online prices were not the same as their price…(?) bottom line, i was promised the items, which they never ordered, much less honor the online price. oscar was never around to discuss the order. he had his employee do his dirty work!
