Bought hdmi cord didn’t work wouldn’t return HATERADIOSHACK no wonder you guys are going out of business you guys suck 35 bucks down the drain. Couldn’t even do store credit. Happy yall are going out of business!!! Jerks

My FIRST time shopping there, at any radio shack precisely and for the same reason i have not gone until now. I was in need of earphone and i bought some about $ 20 then i got the insurance for and came out to be $ 38 for the reason being I know how I am. The guy told me to come back, bring the receipt and they would give me earphone. He did not explain ANYTHINGELSE. I returned to receive my new earphones and they said they needed the other ones. I said«well i through them away because they didnt work. The only thing he said was im sorry we need them. It really pissed me off because the guy that SOLEDTHEMTOMEDIDNTEXPLAIN. I just respectfully walked away because he just went to the back office and came back to tell me sorrry we can’t.

I have been shopping at this store for as long as I have been with my husband, 18yrs. I have not had the pleasure of returning an item until yesterday. Boy did that not go well… Now I know why they push that extra insurance for everything they sell… I understand high end electronics but for SIM cards, come on. My cell phone has been acting up(Motorola Triumph) and so I decided to buy a battery charger, at $ 40 dollars you have high expectations. I purchased it on May 10 w/o insurance and after the first use I noticed that it was very flimsy and the sensor were weak. My thought was this not going to last I better return it on day 3 the sensor broke. So on May 14 I attempted to return the item and get my money back as this was clearly a defect. I was informed by the guy working the counter that it was broken and he could not give my money back. I couldn’t belive it… I waited 10 minutes to speak to a manger who looked as young as the other guy to tell me that I had damaged the item and I could not return it. Only offered a store gift card/credit.I could of accepted it and walked away but was very upset as I was forced, grown women to accept a gift card. I disliked their lack of customer service and felt saying no was more impowering. I even had my kids with me… I will not spend another dime at this location again and hope that all those in this area head either to Bell or Bell Gardens. I am in the process of contacting district manager… will follow up.
