Nice management — K gave us some good information of the sites to see, and was quick to offer us fresh tomatoes and carrots! Yummm
Very reasonable price
Beautiful location — Off the beaten path. This, along with the price, is the real reason to come here.
Swimming hole within walking distance. Ask the manager where it is!
Wood fire fireplace with pre-​chopped wood in the unit!
Fully stocked kitchen with everything you can think of! cutlery, fridge, freezer, oven, stove, microwave, sink, Joy of Cooking cookbook…
CD player, books, board games…

Management said there was WiFi, though I do not think there was any. Both my cellphone and laptop reported no signal. It might have been turned off that night, they might have thought they did, but regardless… look forward to a getaway without any tech!
Spiders in the sink, spiders in the lamp next to your hand when turning it off, dead insects all over, but what do you expect for a place in the Okanagan forest…
No 3-​prong outlets. There was one converter, but be wary of this if you have a laptop.
No TV in the room. I would not consider this a con, as we did not want one, but its worth keeping in mind.
