Awesome little place. Very friendly and we loved that someone was in back in the river waiting for us to assist. I would highly recommend going tubing for only 7.00 here!

This was my first time tubing the Toccoa. We did the 3 mile trip across the state line, which was $ 12 per person. Pros: – Friendly people. – A little chaos with drop off/pick up but no more than expected – Lots of options, which was nice since some of us wanted to tube and one wanted to stand-up paddle. Cons: – It was super shallow and rocky. Maybe it was more so than usual because the dam hadn’t been released in a few days? In any case, we got beached several times, especially at the beginning. – I felt like my tube was a little over-inflated which made it difficult to get comfortable. – I didn’t find this section of the Toccoa to be scenic or remote. Felt a little bit like tubing down a ditch through the middle of a small town. There is a decades-old car rusting in pieces(in the river) that we almost hit. I called it «Tetanus City.» That could have been bad. Other scenery included gas stations, trailers, and a water treatment area. – My friend who was SUPing had a very quick trip and her GPS clocked it a lot shorter than the 3 miles advertised.

We paid $ 12/person for a 1.5 mile tubing adventure down the Toccoa River. It was absolutely amazing! We went on a day when they weren’t generating power, so it took us about 3 hours. When we hit town, the river got a little shallow and one of the tubes popped. Immediately, an employee was there, called the main group, and they brought us another tube. No questions asked. Clearly a small business, but one we highly recommend for efficiency, friendly service, and fun.

5 dollar tubing rides! In TX, it usually costs 15ish. The bus will drive you upstream and drop you off. The bus did take a long time to pick us up though. About 30+ min wait, although that’s prob b/c it was low season. BTW state law does not allow drinking on the river. Tubing is just not that fun w/o a drink…
