Really nice restaurant with great wait staff. I am very picky but the seafood pasta is to die for. Highly recommended.

Wow. I’m a steak guy at heart, for some reason I escaped my rut and tried their Fish Tacos. Since that first order, I’ve had them for the last 3 visits. Very satisfying flavor, crispy fish… it’s wonderful. I take my hat off to Adam and his staff. Don’t fear the fish! All the street tacos are great! Yum

This place was pure Nebraskan. Came here for a wedding rehearsal dinner. There wasn’t enough space for our party to join but they made it happen. The food is what cracked me up: straight up meat and a baked potato. Very mid-western. The chicken cordon bleu wasn’t too bad though. Way too much food for me.

I’m going to title this review«Cloth Napkins and Styrofoam Plates». Which pretty much sums it up. Food: Started off with apps, Blue Point oysters and Mediterranean Calamari with Pesto. Oysters smelled like fish, not the ocean. Calamari had to be sent back, it was cold, burnt, and mushy with a watery chopped tomato and olive blend dumped on top. I asked about the pesto and was told it was mixed into the tomato blend, but couldn’t find it. We were given styrofoam plates to share the apps, and cloth napkins… huh? I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a baked sweet potato side. An HOURLATER we were told there was only one sweet potato left, so the other guest at my table who also ordered a sweet potato and myself could split it. Bad decision as it was also cold, and mushy. My salad finally came, but the dressing was so watery that it didn’t even stick to the iceberg lettuce on the plate. Meals came five minutes after the salad… almost an hour and a half after we ordered, with half the table being served five full minutes before the other half. Service: Waitress seemed new, really was trying her best… but when she came to the table with silverware wrapped nicely in white cloth napkins, then peeled off six styrofoam plates and put them on the table, one by one, that set the tone for the meal to come. After she offered to return the calamari, a man came to table to ask what the problem was. I still don’t know who he was, he just showed up. We saw him again later to explain the sweet potato shortage, but still never told us who he was. Can’t blame the waitress for the long wait, but no one ordered anything that justified the hour and a half wait. Value: Six people, $ 162.00 with a few drinks. My chicken sandwich was ten bucks, but have had better at the drive through at Wendy’s. Apps were ten bucks each, more expensive steaks at twenty-five. It’s a shame that this places passes for fine fining in McCook. It seems like they have all the makings of a good restaurant, but lack the management details. I may return in the future, if the Mexican restaurants are closed, but unless they make some improvements it will be my last time.

My daughter and son-in-law just moved to McCook and received a coupon for a free appetizer so we went! The service was great and the food delicious! Prices were reasonable. There was only one problem: two in our party received their food about 10 minutes before the other two — and that seemed like a very long wait for those who were served and those who were waiting to be served.
