Definitely a great place for fried chicken as they’ve been making it for 41 years now. Just be sure to call ahead (852‑2717) because they don’t make it until your order. (Allow 30 minutes) Lots of other choices on the menu though like hot dogs, cheeseburgers, and specials of the day. They have a few offerings for dessert like milk shakes and Apple Uglies. There isn’t much room for dining inside; there is just enough room for a few tables. Most of their business seems to be pick-​up and they certainly seem busy in that regard. Friendly staff. The dining area could definitely be a little cleaner. I definitely recommend calling ahead and picking up some chicken if you are in the area.

This is not a cinema, it’s a restaurant and the food is amazingly good home cooking. THE best fried chicken you will ever find. Great menu — something for everyone. Small and comfortable. If you’re in or passing through McCormick make sure you grab a bite to eat here.
