I’ve worked out hear for about a year. All I can say is that this YMCA has left me continuously disappointed. While the facilities are fine and meet the minimum expectations, the staff are disorganized and do the bare minimum. If you just want to get in, get out and be left alone this is the place for you. If you want community events, a family welcoming location with friendly staff then you’ll be disappointed.

I don’t work out here, my sons play basketball for the Y. I have one child that has an amazing experience and the other one not so much. My ten year old was placed on a team, loves his coach, has practice for one hour once a week, and has had a referee at every game. My seven year old was left off of the roster. I had to go up to the Y to find out why we haven’t heard from the coach. Then come to find out he was never placed on the team. I showed the sports director my paid receipt he put him on a team. Their first game was the next day. He never was able to practice with his team. He didn’t receive a jersey until the 3rd game of a 6 game season. Then at the first game a referee didn’t show up until half time. Like I said one great experience and one that has not been fun like it is supposed to be playing rec basketball.

The facility is a little small, but has plenty of treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, ect. I like that I can take a group exercise class and my kids can work out in the gym while I am in the class. The Zumba class is great! I took my first class last night and loved it.
