If this were a review for just Dr. Johnson, it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately, Dr. Johnson has either partly retired or sold his practice to Dr. Banks. As a result, this practice is not no longer a dentist, it is now a business.
I can no longer see my hygienist, who I have been going to for almost ten years. They reschedule appointments when you get them (not easy), and then they nickel and dime you for services, sometimes for services not rendered.
You now have to fight to make sure they do not rip you off. The computer systems are a mess, and little information can be provided to you on the first call. They now have to always research the issue, then never call you back. The office hours are also erratic, contributing to the difficulties in getting an appointment.
Time to get a new dentist.

Dr. Johnson has been my dentist for many years. I think I started going to him once I got my own dental insurance through work. I couldn’t imagine going to anyone else.
His office is very clean and the staff is friendly. You are always greeted at the door with a smile. Everybody remembers who you are and will treat you like you are their friends. Dr. Johnson is very professional, he’ll tell you straight up if anything is wrong and will not perform any work that is not needed. If something is needed they’ll let you know and let you know how much it’ll cost. In my case it was suggested I get a bite guard, his office submitted a pre-​claim on my behalf. When the estimate came in with what the insurance would cover, I could decide if I wanted it or not.
To keep you entertained he’ll tell you stories. If you are interested in antique chairs he’ll talk you ear off on it as well =) He’s an expert collector. Once I needed a cavity, to have some fun with me he came in with a chisel and hammer and told me to open up. I asked for Novocaine, but Dr. Johnson explained that it was very small and I didn’t need it. I’m a wuss when comes to pain, so I insisted on it. Again, I was turned down because he said I wouldn’t feel a thing. I trusted him and he was right. I didn’t feel a thing. This just one example of when he won’t charge you for something you don’t need.
I trust him with my teeth.
