Love the rotation of seasonal flower offerings. Have shopped here a few times and am sold by 1) friendly customer service 2) value oriented prices 3) supporting a local business since I live in the area. We ordered over 50 bunches of bright orange marigolds for a wedding last fall and everything was wrapped and ready on time. My kids loved the eclectic mix of plants and driving down the dirt road with colorful flower stalks brimming on either side plus the friendly dog. We will be back again.

This is my go-to place for flowers, potted house plants and herbs. Flowers are seasonal. The poinsettias last months longer than the ones purchased at the grocery store. Although much cheaper, you will need to supply your own decorations to the pot if you plan to gift them. We’ve replanted our lilies in our front lawn and they’re thriving. Good place to take children along because of the interesting layout with real chickens and cats and dogs wandering the farm. Parking might be tricky if there are a lot of customers. I’d recommend parking by backing in so just in case more people show up while you’re shopping.

This is an adorable local family farm that has been part of the McLean landscape for 6 decades. They sell beautiful flowers — far more beautiful, and for far less($ 7.50!) than your standard grocery store bouquet, plus some goodies like local honey, herbs, pumpkins, and sometimes seasonal produce. It’s down a short dirt road, and they have spots for a few cars to park. Worth a visit, if only to mingle with the friendly and handsome roosters :-)

Small Place but quite a find!!! Owners are very friendly and went out of their way to help me with flowers for a special ethnic function. Very Very reasonable and a good selection of flowers. Dahlias, Zinnias, Marigolds, Bachelors Buttons(Red & Purple), sunflowers… and more!!! Would definitely go back again!!! Check out the Flower carpet we created with Fresh Flowers from Mehr Bros!!!

The name of this business is a little deceiving. After passing by this bohemian enclave /farm hold-out in McLean several times, I decided to bring some flowers home to my wife. They had a choice of four, count them, four small bouquets. And they were two each of the same flowers, so really I had a choice between some small-ish sunflowers and some ratty looking mixed flowers. Oh, and they were EXPENSIVE. $ 7.50 for a small bouquet of sunflowers. They seemed to have a decent selection of green potted plants /houseplants. Maybe I just went at a weird time in the season(mid-July), but I really don’t see a reason to stop here again.
