Great place! I work in the building so the location is very convenient… but I’d come here anyway. The food is always fresh and delicious; the staff is very friendly and efficient; and the prices are more than reasonable. There isn’t a better option in the McLean/Tyson office district. 99% of the time I get the Italian… which is great, but I have also had other items… whether a breakfast sandwich or one of the daily specials(the Reuben is awesome!)… it’s always good.

I came here only once, but the sandwiches my gf and I got were really good. Nothing special about the fries, but they weren’t bad. I didn’t like the part where everyone has to sign in to enter the building, but the sandwiches more than made up for that inconvenience. I’ll be back to try out some more of the options they have.

I would really have to stretch my imagination to give this place 5 stars. We came late(1:30 p.m.) and most of the Specials were already depleted. I ordered the Steak and Cheese Special and Fries. The fries were the bomb. The sandwich was pedestrian at best. The Owner(quite the Hottie) was extremely cordial and welcoming. It is very hard to produce food for the masses just like Mom did at home. I would go back and try another type of sandwich but still disagree with the 5 star ratings.

I started working in McLean and on my hunt for local eats(via Unilocal), I stumbled upon NADA Café. This little café is tucked away(like any corporate office café) in the NADA building and is run by the some of the nicest people on this street. I had no idea what NADA was until now… but you can be sure I’ll never forget it. The menu has lots of great deli items to choose from and it’s incredibly cheap. The average price of a sandwich is a whopping $ 5.50… that’s less than the average price of a cocktail in the DMV area. So I decided on «The Sicilian». This sensational sammie has roasted turkey, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato and a light olive-parmesan dressing all on Italian bread. This thing was loaded with delectable deli meat and the dressing pulled everything together beautifully. I don’t even like olives, but I’ll eat this sandwich any day of the week. Overall, food is tasty but it’s the super friendly and fast service that makes me want to come back. It’s a short 5 minute walk from my office so you can be sure I’ll be coming here again in the very near future.

Whoever mentioned that this is a «mom and pop» shop is spot-on! This is a great little deli managed by a mom and a dad. Service is fast and you can tell why by seeing that teamwork behind the counter. I try to come in after the lunch rush-hour but I’ve seen them handle long lines of people smoothly… And with big smiles on their faces no matter how busy it gets. I used to always get the Philly Chicken and Cheese but then I started exploring the menu further. My favorite now is a bowl of chicken noodle soup or the chili soup along with an Italian grilled cheese. I always get some ketchup and sriracha to go and use it as a dip for my grilled cheese. This deli is located in an office building. This is perfect if you have a busy day ahead of you and can’t go to Tysons 1 or 2 for a restaurant meal but have to work at your computer during lunch. Pop into this joint, grab a sandwich and go finish your work!

Being part of the NADA Academy for 5 months already, the NADA Café has quality food. Quick service & friendly owners. Would definitely keep coming back! To all those who join NADA. Support the café. They support you.

Lee’s favorite was very good. Also the spicy dill pickle chips were the best chips I’ve ever had. The deli is on the basement floor of an out dated office building in McLean but don’t let that turn you off.

I know my review is slightly biased because my mom is the owner but I’m still a Unilocaler and I’ve eaten here more than any customer so I’m just here to list my favorite things to eat and give a little helpful tips for dining here. First of all, it’s located inside of an office building(NADA) so parking is a private lot but you can get a visitor’s pass at the front desk! The building is old, so don’t let the place cloud your judgement before you even taste the food, because my mom’s been in the deli biz since the 90s so she knows what she’s doing. ;) Here are my recommendations! Breakfast: Western Omlette with avocado & salsa — it’s an Immix fave. Bagels with cream cheese — you can’t go wrong. Sausage egg & cheese on croissant — provolone & a little jelly — my personal fave. Something quick: fruit salad, greek yogurt, muffins, etc. Lunch: There are house specials that change daily. Some include Spaghetti & meatballs, taco salad, bulgogi(korean bbq) Cold sandwiches: Turkey avocado pita with hummus Thai chicken wrap California dream Turkey sandwich(turkey is baked & carved fresh!) Hot sandwiches: Tuna melt Steak & cheese — ask for hot peppers! Lee’s favorite Reuben New Yorker Hot veggie sub Tips: $ 5 minimum credit cards American Express not accepted ATM machine available Now that I am living on the opposite coast, I miss eating here more than ever and wish I ate here everyday before I left. Not having it at my convenience makes me appreciate it and realize it’s hard to find a good deli! Tell Sandy I said hello! ;)

nada café is an unassuming, modest, little delicatessen /café located on the basement level of a typical office building in tyson’s corner. however, nothing about its food and service was just ordinary. maybe it’s the ‘mom and pop shop’ thing. maybe it’s the owners who seemed to care A LOT about their customers. who knows, but all i know is that my experience was so good that it made me write a haiku: hot and toasty bread succulent and juicy meat crisp and fresh veggies it just really seemed like they care about you as a customer and they tried to make everything ‘right’. as much as love to hate on bad establishments, i know a good shop when i see one. i’d definitely come again.
