Nimmagadda Ram, MD

I would normally not write a negative review, however, after my experience with the receptionist a point needed to be made. Based on other reviews, I am not alone in my distaste for her treatment. Whomever answered the phone, did not identify herself and interrupted me mid-​sentence to place me on hold with no notice. When she did return to the phone she talked over me three separate times. She was extremely, extremely rude and ended the conversation by hanging up on me. In my profession I have the ability to refer patient’s to new primary care providers and know I would not send my worst enemy to this office to avoid the treatment I received over the phone. Hopefully after multiple reviews with similar reactions Dr. Nimmagadda will review the treatment his staff is providing to his patient’s, which I assume he cares about.

I am a patient of MD. Cissy Pottannat. Since MD. Cissy was out of town, I was referred by her office to visit MD. Ram office. The receptionist was not professional but, sneaky and racist. Her name is Sandy or Cindy. They don’t accept credit card. They accept only cash and check. I told her that I don’t have cash or check on me so I have to go back and get it. Sandy told me that you don’t have to go back. Here is the envelope when you go home just write a check and mail to us or you can bring cash. I grabbed the envelope from her and ensured her that she will get it by tomorrow. I was speaking in my native language with my wife. She was so sneaky and try to understand our conversation. But she was not successful because we were speaking in Bengali and she speaks in Hindi. She approached to me and told me that she is not feeling comfortable with us so she can’t let us visit to doctor without paying first. I told her that you just gave me an envelope to pay you tomorrow and now she said that she doesn’t think that I will not pay her co-​pay. So, she wants me to pay now and since she can’t trust me she won’t accept any mail payment. I asked her what make you think that way then she is saying our facial expressions is not honest. This place don’t treat people with respect, caring and love. They are just money sucker.

Wonderful doctor, I would have given him 5 stars, but for his front office staff.
You will not find ruder staff than this one. One of them is his wife and the other
sounds on the phone just like his wife. They are not courteous, not helpful and
are very arrogant. I have had friends who left him, because of his staff. I wish he would get rid of his staff and get new staff for his front office.

Great doctor, terrible receptionist (wife). It didn’t used to be so bad but when his wife took over the front desk, it became rather painful to deal with his office. I’ve since switched doctors, which is a shame because I thought he was excellent and provided plenty of options and actually listened to what you were saying.

Dr Ram has been our family doctor for many years.
I am not very compatible with doctors, and I am glad to say he is very open and honest without all the pretentiousness that most doctors have.
I can not recommend him enough, he has been fantastic!
