What a surprise. Feldman’s has a deli and gourmet market store? Wow, I did not know until friends took me there today for lunch. What wonderful food! The eating area with tables and chairs is fairly small, so maybe come early, if you want a seat. There were meat, vegetarian and vegan options. All looked bright, fresh; I wanted to try everything. However, had to chose something. Tried the tomato basil soup. Really quite good. And, I had a ruben sandwich. It was a ruben made the way rubens are supposed to be made. Don’t find that often here in the RGV. Other things to try(you can get little cups or servings of things for take out or take home)… most definately the humous and some of the other salads. The deli section had wonderful looking cheeses, salami, other yummies. Looking forward to going back soon to try some more. And yes, this IS the liquor store, Feldmans. Who knew? Glad I do now.

Feldman’s Market is an upscale liquor store that is similar to Friar Tuck or any other major liquor store chain. It has wide selection craft beers, Texas made beers, major brands, and top notch foreign beers. It appears to have a decent liquor and wine section, but I do not drink a lot those types. They have an outstanding deli with a myriad of delicious choices. Prices can be a little expensive, but in my opinion it seems well worth it.

This place was great. I recently bought 30 Buchanan’s bottles for my best friends wedding. I shopped around and this specific Fieldmans location had the best prices. The best liquor and spirits selection around.

my local colleagues recommended this location when i was in dire search of a specific tequila — the abundant selection of wines, spirits and beers at Feldman’s is impressuve: from all around the world, including beers that i did not expect to find in this corner of the United States. They also run super sales once in a while — i find my husband’s specific unique tequila here at over 35% discount, as compared to the few places in PA/NJ area which carry this brand. This location also carries convenient food market items, geared to compliment your wine /spirit selection: charcuterie, crakers, chips, dips, chocolates. And they have an attractive-size selection of sandwiches, salads, wraps etc for lunch, or supper, if you want something more substantial to pair with your libation. Typically, the staff is helpful and accommodating — wtih an occasional uninterested employee thrown in.

I love Feldmans :) They have delicious food. The crab and avocado cake is amazing. Their cucumber yogurt is amazing. And their chicken souvlaki is perfect.

Wish I could give this place only 1 star for its awful collective attitude, but the food is just too good. Long lines and apathetic attendants would easily deter me from ever returning in any other city, but you kind of have to take what you can get in McAllen(and they certainly know it). There’s no better place for a quick, high-quality, and tasty lunch. Scratch-made hummus, paninis, and artisan cheeses are just a few items that keep me begrudgingly coming back for more. Also one of the few places in the Valley that knows what an Arnold Palmer is! A star in itself… Beware if you’re not quite 21 yet, though. Walk in asking for a sandwich and they will promptly escort you out like the felon you are.

Be very cautious in your purchases at Feldman’s. A large percentage of their«grocery» type items are outdated, as well as quite a few of their cheeses. I’ve seen Cokes many months past their expiration dates, and I’ve seen a lot of items, such as spices, anchovies,(a lot of the Ortiz brand items), and other(especially imports) with expired dates. And I mean expired for 6 months or more! Keep in mind that most European items show the date with the date/month/year, unlike most U.S. items that are dated with month/date/year. I’ve also seen cheeses with the labels covered with new labels stating new«best by» dates. Although they do have a good selection of spirits, because of their poor quality control I am very leery of purchasing anything other than alcohol there. Seeing their disregard to freshness, I would never, ever purchase their prepared foods in their«deli» section AKA Sam and Ella’s café.

It’s like the whole foods of beer! And deli’s. Oh i love coming here. If you are in the mood to eat they have great wraps. I had a turkey wrap with cucumber yogurt and hummus. It was huge and though I tried to finish it, I had to save room for the beer. After eating, my dude and I picked out a few beers each. I was happy to see they carried St Peter’s English Ale so I got that and Lindemans Cassis Lambic, so delicious! And we got to try a different Lambic during the beer tasting, which they have every Friday at 7pm(only this location). The staff are young and cool and all seem very nice, though last time I went there was an older woman working one of the registers and she gave me a death stare. I swear! I asked her a question and she ignored me and when I asked again she just replied«I don’t know» and continued to ring me up. Ooof! Don’t go in her line! She might bite your head off.

Best selection cause the Valley doesn’t have too many other choices, but owned by the worst pompous JERK i have ever met. He is the only reason i will never shop there again. He truly is a JERK this place should be Boycotted…

Best beer selection in the Valley. The beer guy here really knows his stuff, and is always open to special orders. You can make your own six-pack from 100+ different singles.

In a world of mexican restaurants and chinese buffets, Feldman’s stands out like a happy brightly shining sore thumb. With selections ranging from italian to mediterranean to spanish to good old fashioned turkey sammies, they do it right and they do it quick. I had the RJA(delish!) and my dad had a turkey wrap(which he didnt let me try — rat!). It was decently priced and definitely better than yet another sotex taco. Excellent selections to take out if you’re trying to impress a friend or a holiday party full of half drunk coworkers. Note: If you’re headed to feldies, get there on a wed for 10% off if you’re senior and thurs if you’re a ladyyyyyyy.

When you walk into the newly remodeled Feldman’s your eye will want to tend to wonder and you might feel overwhelmed by the vast selection of wines, liquors, and deli selection, but no need to fret the friendly faces are there to help you pick, and choose what you’ll need for your selection. As you walk through the store there are Promotional counters where you can taste the wine or liquor of the week. So as you meander through the store with drink in hand be sure to stop by the deli where your taste buds will surely be delighted by the chefs at hand from delicious Pizzas, Grilled Panini, Bocadillos, Insalate, Antipasto or you can have a go at the Masterpiece where you can create your own meal. Feldman’s is an experience no other Liquor store will give you.
