The food is cold. The sake tastes like isopropyl alcohol. DON’T DOIT. SAVEYOURSELF.

Long, promising radio commercial testimonial. «Stop by and see what he is up to at the House of China. «I will tell you what he is up to, running just another nasty buffet in the RGV. Thankfully they installed sneeze guards on the buffet line, they are needed. Place is a dump.

Nothing to say but nope… Nope nope nope… Plain and simple the weird sushi you see at gas stations taste better then this… It’s overrated, highly priced, and under managed. The owner should stick with making commercials.

It’s standard. The buffet is a little smaller than average, but the food was pretty good. I went in about 5:30, and everything was coming out fresh for the evening. The pan seared Salmon was better than I expected. They do a lot of takeout, so I had to hustle a little to stay out of the way of the order fillers, but they were sweet, just busy. Bottom line, the food is hot, decent, and inexpensive. Overall, I liked it OK.

The food is horrible. Absolutely the worst quality and taste I’ve ever had. Customer service is terrible as well. Please don’t waste your money or ruin your taste buds here.

Absolutely atrocious. I accidently came here looking for another restaurant. I decided to get something from here because I was starving and didn’t know how long it would to find what I was looking for. I ordered the special of the day which was the almond chicken. The meal came with an egg roll, soup, and the entrée for only $ 8. I thought that the price wasn’t too bad. My car was immediately flooded with a urine smell as soon as I received the food. I thought maybe it was just me so I got home and proceeded to eat it. The egg roll was completely soggy and salty; no texture or flavor to it whatsoever. The almond chicken was horrid. I think I encountered maybe two slivers of almond. It tasted like they tried to use pineapple juice as a part of the sauce, but it fermented. I only ate half of the meal. I ended up throwing the rest of it in the trash. It was the biggest waste of $ 8.

I remember the food being of a better quality. Secret Asian Man, you’ve let your standards drop. I’m disappointed.

I go here when in the mood for«Americanized-Chinese.» I have NEVER dined in, and have just ordered takeout. The Black Pepper Chicken is hella good w/extra sweet onions. The Royal Hawaiian is also yum, and always cooked to order. That’s pretty much the extent of what I’ve had here, and I almost always go to other spots when I want Chinese.
