I think this place is pretty good. Their Philly cheesesteak sandwiches are very good. As it is Texadelphia they do «Texas» style, which I guess means it has jalapeños in it. All of the different options I have tried are very good. I’m a fan of the mustard sauce which really takes the sandwich up a notch. You can get a regular or a large, and I think that a large is big enough to share. It’s a great deal if you have kids because kids meals are only $ 1 with the purchase of an adult meal every day.

The restaurant was clean. The staff was really nice and friendly. I had the founders favorite cheesesteak. It was just ok. The food didn’t amaze me. The spicy ranch sauce is really good and I recommend adding it to the sandwich.

A family friendly restaurant that surprised me for the great service and staff they have. Food here is great, I really recommend the founders favorite with extra jalapeños, also the chips and queso are AMAZING! Would really recommend everyone looking for a cheesesteak to dine here you will not be disappointed.

I find it absolutely deplorable that a business would rather lose a customer than take an order 30 minutes before closing. I understand people wanting to get home. I’m a manager at a restaurant I get it but we still help guests 1 minute before closing time. I called to order food and was left on hold for over ten minutes without anyone retuning to the phone. You could clearly hear noise in the background of someone taking an order. I got tired of waiting so I hung up and called again and no one picked up… What a shame…

Came here for a quick lunch while visiting family in the valley. Although I feel it can be a bit pricey(~$ 25 for 2 and a drink) it’s the only place in the area that we could find a decent philly. Definitely recommend, the food was delicious, the employees were friendly, and the restaurant was very clean and in order.

Pretty much the bomb! Never had a bad meal here. The cheese for the fries is awesome. Difficult location to find and dangerous traffic area but we love eating here.

Picked up to go on two separate occasions. Friendly staff and order was ready right away! I ordered the chicken cubano with waffle fries instead of the chips and salsa. The waffle fry order was extremely small(4 – 5 medium to large fries) in the«to-go version.» Actually I called because I thought they had accidentally messed up. They said they«weigh their fries.» Maybe their scale is calibrated wrong? The basket of fries is $ 2.49 I believe but in the«to-go version» it’s still overpriced for the quantity. I shouldn’t have to pay an additional amount for a $ 7-$ 8 sandwich. Oh and the drink is not included so tack on another couple bucks. Queso for your chips is $ 1.18 for the extremely small 2 oz container. Next time I ordered the chips and salsa and they were great! The queso is pretty good and would pair really well with the chips. The ranch is awesomely delicious and you can serve yourself any of the condiments if you dine-in. I would give the taste of the sandwich a B-. Overall the sandwich was okay. I came back a second time because of it’s convenient location. They could use less salt for their meats; bread was soft/slightly rubbery but I had to tug a little too much in order to grab a bite #rubbery If I ever crave a mediocre Philly cheesesteak I’ll return.

Pretty good, but if you are going to call your queso sauce for the sandwiches«Cheez Whiz» make sure you are using Cheez Whiz. Queso for chips is completely different flavor. Overall, pretty good.

No chips and queso??? Because they run out of cheese… i hate whataburger because it always dirty and this place is start looking like any other dirty whataburger, people working in Bermudas, not uniform t-shirt…sad but I will not come anymore… wait there is more… no cheese in the sandwiches!!! They bring the sandwiches without any cheese because they don’t have anymore… this really sucks!!!

One word sums it up… yuck. The place is clean and the staff was very nice. The cheesesteak just did not taste good. There was just not much flavor.

An enjoyable experience. Great sandwich, atmosphere, friendly staff and a LOT of tv’s, as I sit here and watch the Cowboys game. I got the 10″ Founders Favorite with jalapeños mixed in… Awesome! Good fresh chips and salsa. I’m gonna have to come back more often.

Very good! My husband built his own Philly by choosing steak, mozzarella, grilled onions, and mushrooms. A half cost about $ 6 and a 10″ cost about $ 8. It comes with tortilla chips but you can get fries for $ 1 more. I got the left coast Philly with grilled chicken, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, and guacamole. Both sandwiches were huge and delish! They were attractive and moist. Everything tasted great. My children chose either the hamburger or the chicken tenders and they come with a drink and fries for $ 4.09. They gobbled it down quickly. The fries were waffle-style and gloriously seasoned. Hate to admit, but better, yes better than Chik Fil A.(Imagine that) it’s like Chik Fil A fries with Jack in the Box curly fry seasoning. ADDRANCHTOEVERYTHING! I an super picky with ranch. Some ranches are too thick, some too runny, or have some funky seasoning. However, this ranch is king of all ranches and demands to be in control. Your palate will be forever thankful. Trust me I live to eat and I am a self-professed food critic(I teach high school as a hobby). I only have two suggestions/micro-complaints: please put more sugar in the sweet tea(this is South Texas ain’t it?) And our table was wobbly and moved if you leaned too heavy(after filling up you need strong tables to hold you up!) and if you have small children like me they play a fighting game of «who moved to table» and whose squashing who” but for this tasty food they can give me a table on wheels and send me down a steep slope with my last meal in tow.

As you enter you immediately are hit with music that is way too loud. Not only is it loud, but it is ACDC. Perhaps they are trying to make their customer’s angry… Shrugging that off I order and give 20% tip. I go and get my drink and sit down. The table is sticky. Oh well, I’ve been camping before, I’m sure I have a tolerance for whatever microbe is breeding on the table. While waiting I sip on my soda. They either don’t filter their water, or need to change filter because I swear I can taste the Rio Grande River in my Fanta. I mean come on. We all know the water is terrible here, I give my dogs filtered water. I guess that is just too good for a customer. I probably wouldn’t have had time to think about that had the food actually arrived within a reasonable amount of time. I waited over 20 minutes. When it finally did come, the fries were cold. I want to start a new American custom, if you are ever served cold fries, you as a customer have the right to throw them on the floor. That way the eatery will get immediate feedback on their poor food quality. I imagine that even down here in the Rio Grande Valley they’d be smart enough to take the hint once 50 pounds of fries are tossed to the floor. WARNING — you will never get a good review from me if you serve me cold fries. Especially if I have to wait 20 minutes for them. Please remember, if you can’t even serve warm fries, you lack the attention to detail that you will need if you ever want to progress to a position outside the food service industry. SLACKERS! It wasn’t all bad, the cheese steak(founder’s favorite) was very good.(see, I can be objective.) The only way I will go there again is if I see that they have a drive through. I will only order a cheese steak, no drink, no fries. That way I also won’t have to listen to blaring heavy metal music while my elbows stick to the table. I want my money back, or at least the tip I left.

OK, here it is, short and to the point, not sweet though… I have been several times to the one in Houston’s Westheimer, and it is OK for a bite during the game. The one in McAllen lacks all the stuff that makes one keep coming back. I got The Texican sandwich, and the chicken in it(the girl behind the counter insisted it was chicken) was tasteless, the bread soaky and rubbery and the chips stalled. Is all the menu as bad? I will not come back to find out. +++ Today, 10-01-2012 I recieved a message from someone that appeared to be the owner of this joint. The message was fairly polite, stating that(n essence) it would have been a good idea to ask for the owner, and that he would make things right… As a matter of fact, I did ask the girl in the counter why the sandwich was so bad. She simply ignored me and went to the back of the store. I did not ask for the owner, but I think is pretty obvious where this business is going, judging from the other reviews… It is what it is, and I am usually here typing almost all positive reviews. Texadelphia in Pharr Texas needs a serious make over. If you train your staff, cook your sandwich, and service your patrons well the first time, no one would have to ask for the owner. Just go a few storefronts over to the Mexiburger place and observe.

So I was really disappointed after I got there. They messed up my wife’s order. Didn’t offer to correct it. I got the hickory. It tasted like ground beef. No flavor from the cheese. The bbq sauce was less than ok but not terrible. Food was very greasy. And not like flavor greasy. More like oil greasy. Not going to be going there any more.

Returned for lunch to try the CHIPOTLEBLACKBEANBURGER. Yes, YES. And spicy ranch is a must(unless you’re vegan).

Great but corporate sandwich place. Sort of like a massively upgraded Subway, or a somewhat upgraded which wich. The fries were great, the queso a bit off, but the spicy ranch made up for it. I also tried the veggie sandwich there too which was surprisingly good.

This spot just opened. I had the Founder’s Favorite cheese steak, and it was really good. The special mustard sauce is so good. They don’t sell beer yet, but I was told they will in a few weeks.
