Lemar Auctions and Estate Services

I have been going to this auction from day 1 and have a great friendship with the owners, they are the best and one of the most honest people I have meet. I would give them 10 stars and can’t believe the low reviews, maybe you just can’t please everyone. I have sold items with them and always buy items from them and if something is not right them will fix it. As of the first of the year they changed the auction days to Saturday, before it was always on Sunday but now being on Saturday it’s a great place to go wile you are still out going to yard sales, so now I don’t have to miss church. This auction house is NOT IN ANY WAY AFFILIATED OR CONNECTED to any other auction house in the Sacramento area. You will not be disappointed if you attend any of the auctions.

Have been going out to Lemar for a while and also bidding on line, when I could not make it out there. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and they make the auctions fun to be at. There’s usually coffee, water, snacks, but its definitely the people, (and the items being auctioned), that make the difference. Thanks to Leslie and all for being there. They have always returned my emails, and calls promptly on auction day, and their normal work times. Will definitely be going back.

I just called the business number, AGAIN, to find out the «memory» is full. I called the second phone number. The number is no longer in service, and other businesses are available. LESLIE was supposed to get back to me when I last talked with her on, 6−23−15. She still owed my husband and I money from the remainder of items from my parent’s home liquidation sale. SHE had written on a list of things that were already sold, which I have here in front of me. SHE hand wrote, «Jim, we are selling the misc. remains this Saturday.» Thank you, Leslie. THAT WAS IN MAY. I had called her on «the remaining» items on the above date. She jerked me around, stating she would have to «go over the paperwork» and would get back to me. I THOUGHT she would get back to me. I don’t have any idea how much more money is involved at all, possibly not much, but the point is, WE should have been paid the remaining money FROM THAT SALE. OBVIOUSLY, I am to assume, based on my attempted phone calls to reach Leslie this morning, that she is no longer in business and took off with my money, small or not ISN’T the point.
This company was recommended by the woman who is a real estate agent, selling my Dad’s home. I will let her know what’s happened.
I don’t have any recourse. The company and Leslie ARE COMPLETE ASSHOLES!

WILL NEVER BUY FROM!!! Horrible customer service!!! They called and yelled at me! REALLY!!! I emailed last week. Ignored! Emailed earlier this week. IGNORED! Emailed a third time and got a response that indicated they never actually read my email. When I posted accurate but bad feedback, they called me on the phone to yell at me!!! They took my money and I have NOTHING!!! They refuse to provide me with a tracking number even. HORRIBLE! I stand by that and it is accurate feedback. Do not call me and yell at me for negative feedback!!! That is stepping over the line! I WANT MY MONEY BACK! You can not keep my money and the item also.

We’ve been buying from Lemar Auctions for a couple of years now… since before their move to the new digs. I can’t say enough good stuff about the people here. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and all around fun! We have had to bring our 2 kiddos with us into the auction house a couple of times and have always been greeted with smiles and never any disapproval. In fact, for the first in-​house auction we attended, both boys came and hung out in the waiting room (very well behaved and occupied by mom and dad’s iPad and iPhones) only to be doted upon by the awesome staff. Again, super friendly, sweet people, love their new location. It is big, comfortable, very clean with lots of parking. We are and will continue to be loyal customers of Lemar Auctions!

Was finally able to attend an auction in the new location on Sunday. WOW!!! I liked the old location… but the new one is even better. Just when you think they cant get any better, Lemar Auctions does. The staff is super friendly, the items are top notch, the new location is beautiful, clean, comfortable and all around great. This is one of the best ways to spend a Sunday. Keep up the good work.

Leslie and her team at LeMar were great to work with! The entire process was done professionally and timely. After my grandmother passed, I called LeMar to assist me in clearing out her home. Acknowledging the emotional difficulty of the situation, they worked quickly and were respectful the entire time. They did a great job removing everything from her home. Then a few weeks later when the items were sold I received a very detailed, itemized list of each piece and how much it went for. The whole process was completed quickly, professionally, and with open communication. I would highly recommend working with Leslie and her team!
