Great rates. Very nice rooms. Owner and cook were very friendly and we felt at home. We will definitely be back when we can stay more than one night.

A-MAZ-ING. Note to all folks looking to get married in the Mt. Shasta area –don’t miss the Guest House! My husband and I had an incredible weekend here with family and friends, and we haven’t heard our guests stop singing its praises since. The outdoor space and surrounding area are gorgeous. Truly a picturesque wedding venue. Beautiful oak trees shade the huge lawn(more than large enough to accommodate our 180 person ceremony + reception, and a lawn game area!). The wrap around porch is beautiful for photos, and the larger setting of McCloud is really something special. The historic downtown coupled with the beauty of Siskiyou county and the endless outdoor activity options make it impossible not to fall in love. The Guest House itself(which was once the home of the McCloud lumber mill proprietor) is fantastic. The historic inn is owned and run by Alice — the sweetest and most accommodating woman you will ever meet. She grew up in the area and will share tons of old stories with you if you have a moment(or an hour) to spare. The main house has 7 beautiful guest rooms and the cottage has 3 other wonderfully appointed rooms(along with a fully stocked kitchen and lovely living area). We had our entire wedding party(18 adults + 2 tiny ones) stay at the property with us for the weekend and it was wonderful. Plus, all of our wedding guests are still complimenting us on our beautiful venue. Truly can’t say enough good things about The Guest House.

Bed = perfect firmness. Breakfast = fresh, wholesome, incredible! Each room in the Guest House has ensuite bathroom, some with clawfoot tubs, others with showers(we picked room with shower). Comfie living room to read or play games downstairs, separate TV room with VCR and cable if you are so inclined, huge common room on second story with pool table. Only a five minute walk from downtown McCloud… I love the clean air and peaceful surroundings. The most comfortable B&B we’ve ever stayed at. We’ll be back in the summer to enjoy breakfast on the veranda before hiking to the Falls.
