Évaluation du lieu : 4 Pittsburgh, PA
After researching some prices for pumpkin patches around Pittsburgh, we decided to come here because it was the best deal. For $ 12, we got a hayride to the pumpkin patch, activities(including the Pumpkin Launch, petting zoo, games and a pretty big corn maze) and a pumpkin of your choice. Not bad considering a pumpkin alone at Walmart or Giant Eagle will run you around $ 8-$ 10. Both of the ones we picked are decent sized. There are two areas to find pumpkins and they nearly were all in good condition. They could have had some more out, but I can’t complain because we found winners in a matter of minutes. We also paid an extra $ 5 to paint a pumpkin. It included a medium sized pumpkin of your choice and all of the items to color it up including paint, felt, paper, streamers, etc. Shoutout to our awesome painting instructor who gave us a sample of a fall cocktail. Yum! The market/greenhouse has a nice variety of odds and ends to look at. Fruits, veggies, dips, décor, plants, etc. Very Trax Farms-esque for those who are familiar. Prices were a little steep, though. $ 6 for a bag of dip seasoning mix? No, thanks. Though, prices for pumpkins are very reasonable. Nice sized pumpkins were marked $ 6. FYI — They also have a TV in the market area that plays the Steeler games for all you fans out there! It was definitely worth the ride out of the city for this place. I’m surprised I’m the first to Unilocal about it!
