I’ve shopped at Aldi for years in Germany. The store is not comparable to big chains but it’s definitely good for the basics as well as fresh fruits. I found the store easy to maneuver and the prices affordable. If you like off brands definitely take a look!

I definitely save lots of money shopping at Aldi. I don’t plan on going back to a big rival of theirs anytime soon. However, i do have one complaint. The fresh produce doesn’t keep until you get home. I have found several bags of baby carrots covered in slime and only 2 days after purchasing them. Strawberries are also bad. I won’t stop shopping there, but probably will buy my fresh produce somewhere else. I hate to literally throw away money.

Hmmm, it’s hard for me to review this place. They aren’t quite big enough to compete with the big chain supermarkets [Kroger/Publix] & don’t have enough other knick/knack items to compete with Wal-Mart. So they are a hybrid of sorts with not all of the prices on items matching or beating the other stores I mentioned. with only a few items coming in cheaper, I’m not sure why I’d stop going to the other stores. I get name brand items at Aldi prices where’s the win in it for me?
