Fusion Restaurant and Bar

After reading the reviews, I really wanted to like this place… However, the soup was cold, along with the basmati rice. The crab cakes were sold out! It’s 10:50 pm and they are pretty much closed… The space is small and with the side and front door constantly opening it became cold really quick. The filet is not as advertised and was really tuff and difficult to eat. The service was not that good, because the wrong check was given and we had to go back in to correct the mistake. I would recommend coming in earlier, and hopefully the food and service is better during the day! The worst decision I made today…

A very unique and delicious restaurant right here in our little town. If you like Mediterranean food it is hard to get any better than this. The owner is among the friendliest people you will ever meet. The desserts are incredible as well as the entrees Henry County needs more restaurants like this. Everyone needs to support places like this, and stop going to chain restaurants.

My wife and I had a much needed date night at Fusion. We wanted something that was different than the usual food found in McDonough. We have heard good things, so we decided to give it a shot.
Well Fusion delivered. We were greeted promptly and sat shortly after. The server was very nice and professional. The food was excellent and was priced well.
Did I mention this place is on the side of a gas station? It definitely does not matter. Once inside the atmosphere is great.

Fusion is a fabulous place. The med. and middle eastern food is superb. As good as any restaurant in Atlanta area.

Great little spot in Mcdonough! Had a curry based soup and hummus to start and both were fantastic. The beef and lamb plate with salad and potatoes was simply good. I would try another entrée next time. But if your in the mood for Mediterranean this place is definetly worth a try!

Fusion Restaurant in McDonough is a pleasant anomaly. They have beautifully presented cuisine and impeccable service… this place is definitely a gem!

We wanted a unique lunch experience and this place delivered. Finding great Mediterranean cuisine in Henry County is almost like finding a needle in a haystack, but today we struck gold!
The Moroccan Cigars are divine, falafel is amazing… if you want to surprise someone special with a tucked away treat… this is the place!
Brandon was our waiter and he was so attentive to us. We felt like we were the only customers… in a crowded room. Now that is skill…

Unusual menu and location for McDonough. It is at the end of a Sunoco Station/​Mini Mart on 155 W on the right just past Fun Bowl.
You will not find any grits or greens here. It is upscale Mediterranean. The décor is nice and there is a well stocked, full service bar. Be cautious. The desserts can get ‘cha.

The interior Decour was beautiful. the owner greeted us and treated us like family. I really love the presentation of the food, after all you eat with your eyes first. I enjoyed the patio area after dinner with a nice bottle of wine!

Dinner on Friday night with my boyfriend. Place was not crowded and we got table next to window.
First our server Alleena (correct spelling) was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
Food come out quickly we order special appetizer (chicken wings with feta cheese) it’s was good and mussels with creamy sauce– delicious. Then Mix Grill plate with some pita bread on the side.
We definitely be back for more food:)

Really neat place and a fun option in mcdonough. Really strange that it is in a gas station basically, but once you get over it, its a really great and fun place!

Don’t judge a book by its cover! Inside was immaculate, very modern interior with blue LED’s under the tables and the food was top notch! Maybe a tad pricey but you get what you pay for! Three thumbs up!

Wow! That was great. Stopped for lunch, and blown away. They have transformed this place into a beautiful little resturant.
Sure you make be skeptical Mediterranean food in the same building next to a gas station on the outskirts of McDonough, but rest assured it is fantastic.
Staff was friendly and helpfully without being pushy or overly intrusive.
The food was outstanding. I had the King Farouke seafood linguine. Essentially shrimp, muscles, and clams in a curry Alfredo sauce. Unbelievably good.

Great staff… very welcoming… and the food!?! O.M.G…please do yourself a favor and try the crabcakes they are amazing… recommend and will be back every time im in this part of atlanta… thanks yall

Wow. Wow. Wow. This place is incredible! I have to admit I was skeptical of the location at first but as soon as I walked inside I took two steps back and gasped because I was so in awe of how beautiful this place was! It’s a very intimate dining room with maybe 10 tables and a very nice bar. The décor is very chic.
We ordered the hummus plate for an appetizer and it was incredible. The grilled seasoned pita bread was soooooo good! For dinner me and my boyfriend shared the mixed grill which is: kafta, chicken, and filet skewers or (kabobs) it came with rice and grilled veggies and tzatziki. The filet and chicken were my faves. He also got the special which was swordfish and OMG seriously the BEST I have EVER had and I eat a lot of fish. Not to mention the plating is beautiful and portions are generous.
Service was impeccable… we had Jason and he’s just great. He was very informative, it was the first time in a long time that I never had to ask for a single thing during dinner. Can’t say enough great things about him.
Then to top off dinner we did a mango hookah with a mango purée infused water. Yery yummy and nice relaxing patio experience to just sit and talk with my guy.
This place is a gem and I’ll be telling all my friends!
Be sure to make reservations on weekends, I hear it’s packed. We went on a Thursday and the crowd was light.

So Good! You gotta try this lovely little restaurant. Fast service but I think the best way to enjoy this place is to plan to spend some time. Great place for large parties. If you want to try a hookah you have to plan to be on the outside patio. I am not a smoker but for those who do it looks like a fin way to spend an hour. The food is so good. I had no room for dessert but they looked great.

So, today, we out Fusion Restaurant & Bar for dinner.
Upon entering, we were met by very our friendly hostess and seated at a custom made dining table. The ambiance here was amazing. The lighting, décor, music was spot on. The owner, Sherif Riad, came over to our table to make sure were pleased.
We started out with the Tabouli. It was some of the most flavorful, freshest I can recall having. Then onto the main course. Tony ordered the Mixed Grille Chicken and Kafta with Basmati Rice, grilled veggies and Tahini and Tzatziki sauces. He absolutely loved it all!
I ordered for my main course, the King Farouk Seafood Linguine. The pasta was done to perfection as were the PEI Mussels, Littleneck clams and gulf shrimp, sauteed with cognac. The hot yellow curry and cream smoked paprika was an amazing addition! I can tell you,
The menu also includes a children’s menu.
A wonderful surprise here in Henry County
WE will be going back! I highly recommend Fusion to all!

Deserving of immediate review and definitely your patronage! We stopped in for a late lunch and were immediately awed by the décor. What an amazing renovation along with outside planters plus a great patio with heaters.
But who cares if the service and cuisine are not as spectacular? Our service was impeccable! The Falafel Platter excelled our expectations with the best Falafel’s either of us had ever tasted — crunchy exterior but moist and perfectly delicious center. The fresh Hummus and Baba Ghanoush were equally delicious as were the Grape Leaves.
We can not wait to return and are very excited to have such a great new selection in McDonough.
