Hampton Inn

Is this hotel new? Sure seemed like it. My wife and I are big fans of the Hampton Inn. We’ve stayed in older ones and newer ones alike but have never had anything less than a solid experience.
After spending 12 hours on the road my kids were ready to explode. The pool closed in 10 minutes but after a small request, the kept the pool open for my kids for another 30 minutes. My kids were happy which makes my wife happy and happy wife = happy life.
Very modern décor with incredibly comfortable beds and soft towels. Oh, let me tell you about the comfort of the beds. Pillow top mattresses just hold you until you sleep. Room was exceptionally clean and hotel was spotless. Quality hot and cold items for breakfast with a lovely woman who runs the show. She’ll make you feel right at home. Please leave tips for her even though the breakfast is included in the stay.
Our stay, after taxes, was $ 130 which is about average for a Hampton Inn stay. Weeks when NASCAR is at the AMS, expect higher rates. Weekdays are less than weekends. Overall, the best stay in the greater McDonough area.

I’ve stayed here 4 times since it opened. All of the staff have always been very pleasant. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room away from the interstate side of the hotel. The breakfast is always hot and has a good variety to choose from like the standard full breakfast that is included in your stay at all Hampton’s – no extra charge for breakfast. I always look forward to having my waffle. I will definitely be back again.
