This is my favorite of ALL the Michael stores, first because of the cleanliness of the store, secondly because of the fresh look of the displays, but above all else, the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. I have never had an issue with using coupons here (like other stores) and Claire, one of the outstanding cashiers and customer service people here, was very helpful today! She made checking out quick, uncomplicated, and using coupons a breeze! I’ll always shop Michaels for my arty supplies, but this store is there one I go to first!

I haven’t been in this store many times but the staff has always been hit or miss for me. The selection is huge & Wal-Mart can’t touch them when it comes to specialty items.

I’ve always liked Michael and have been able to find something good in each and every one of them. This one is no different. It has a lot of basic craft supplies. You can probably find what you need it you’re not picky. I did notice, as another reviewer stated before, it seemed darker than other Michaels I’ve gone to. I don’t know if they are trying to save money or put you in «the mood» but it made it difficult to detect the true colors and conditions of certain items and I’ve made returns because of it.
It’s not a bad location but there are some improvements that can be made.

Awful. Service poor. Staff was not attentive and they were slow. The store was empty and staff not busy, but still did not attend to the 3 customers in the store.

I’m like Michaels but their store in McDonough was just okay. The selection wasn’t as good as some other Michaels I have been in. Also they had the lights kind of dim… don’t get me wrong i could still see but i felt like it could have been brighter. They seemed like they were trying to make it better before i moved away so maybe it’s better now, but i prefered going to Hobby Lobby instead.
