Very flavorful! I get the veggie plate. Never disappointed. The staff is very friendly and I’ll continue to patronize this business

I had two delicious meals, one right after the other, at Pete’s. I ordered a combo meat plate, and the sweet woman behind the counter hooked my plate up; heaping with piles of savory cabbage, fall-part sweet and spicy jerk chicken, perfectly curried chicken thighs, and rice and beans. Every part of my meal was seasoned immaculately, and even though I got a small plate each time I went, I had enough leftover to have for breakfast the next day. So, really, I ate pete’s for four meals in a row. If you find this place in this corner of the world, eat pete’s!

This by far the best Jamaican restaurant on the Southside; possibly in Atlanta. I eat here at least twice a month. The jerked chicken is my favorite but the chicken patties are my fave snack. The service is great and the staff is very friendly. My friend drives 37 miles from Marietta just to eat here. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!

The food is great. The people are great. This is one of those reviews that I’m not sure matters because Pete’s seems like such a staple of the community that it defies a rating system. But here goes just in case it needs a boost. We ordered a variety of patties(savory hand pies), and my mom got the brown chicken. The sizes for the meal combos are mini, small, and large. I think a mini could feed an individual. Wow, those rice and beans are so tasty. The chicken was awesome. Mix all of that with cabbage, and it’s divine. I’m not familiar with Caribbean food, so I’m not exactly sure what spices were used or how they made the gravy(get medium to get your maximum gravy fill), but yum. Wow. Mm. The patties were basically cups of stew tucked into a flaky pastry. Definitely comfort food. Tried the red velvet cake too. Great. I wouldn’t personally put as much sugar in the frosting, but I still enjoyed my slice.

So far, the BEST Caribbean food I’ve tasted to date. I took a gamble going to Pete’s last night for my Empire Finale party because I’d never tried their food before. It was AMAZING! All my guest enjoyed it. They give you plenty of food and the guy who took my order over the phone was patient and helpful. I’m going back!!!

Always good food. The oxtail are a fast seller. Decent prices too. So far they are the best Caribbean restaurant in the area. I love this place. The staff is polite, especially the lady that’s normally running the register.

When I am out of town always look for carribean food this place takes the prize hands down. I ordered the curry chicken lunch size to go and after eating it up I wanted to turn around and go back for another serving this is just how good it was. This place is highly recommended. It’s a hole in the wall but very good.

Great food. Loved the atmosphere. Food well prepared and the fact they let you look at what you ordered before you leave the store. If there has been a mistake with your order, they correct it on site. Music played to fit the store and staff is very friendly. My favorites are the Curry goat, Oxtails, Stew Peas, and the beef patties. And the drinks are on point! Love the store and keep up the good job!

This was my first time getting take out from here. Its a small hole in the wall, so it works best for take out but that do have 1 table which seats about 6. So it would work for a quick lunch. More importantly it was clean and the young man taking the orders was nice and friendly. Anyway I ordered the large oxtail. You get a pretty large order for about 13 bucks. The oxtail was tender and tasty. The rice was so so, just rice, not well seasoned for west indian rice. But the gravy over the rice helped. It also comes with a side of cabbage and a couple pieces of sweet plantain. Overall I would recommend it for decent Jamaican food. There’s also a Jamaican market next door if you wanted to try and cook your own Jamaican meal.

I ordered a small oxtail w/rice and peas. I felt the rice could have used more peas and I was unable to taste the coconut flavor, as for the oxtail, they were very tender, which is a plus, but they were definitely lacking in flavor.

Super delicious taste like back home kinda of Jamaican food! The rice here is heavenly soft and yummy. They have delicious pastries: Cheese cake, rum cake, potato pudding, beef patties, coco bread, hard dough bread, bulla. They also have some of the best Jamaican cuisine –Oxtails, curry goat, curry chicken, brown stew chicken, soup and other entrees. They also have a wide selection of Jamaican bottled juices and soda from D&G and Grace. I love this place. If you are in the area stop by
