This wonderful restaurant I located on Unilocal and we loved our lunch. I had the enchiladas with green sauce, rice, beans and sour cream which was on the special. My husband had a very large burrito with green sauce and just loved it. The ladies that helped us were so warm and helpful and came by our table many times to see if we needed anything. Amazing food and the people were like family.

I came here for lunch with a few of my coworkers. We did the buffet option. I really liked the enchiladas and the rice. The chicken fajitas were really good. There were these burritos with shredded beef inside and it had an interesting flavor.
I didn’t get to try any of the other stuff because the other half was a salad bar and other sweets.

I ordered chicken nachos. They messed up on my order the first time when i asked for no sour cream but there was a huge blob right in the middle of the plate when I opened up the box. Went back to have it corrected. When I came home, I was extremely displeased to find huge plate of mush. The threw a ridiculous amount of beans and sauce that the chips became very soggy. I’ve order to go here before and this nasty mushy mess was never the case. Won’t be giving them business any longer.

I love to check out random places. After seeing the McFarland, USA movie, a pit stop at McFarland, Ca after visiting family in Delano was a must! We drove around for a little while and decided to have lunch at this place called Casa De las Fajitas. We walked in thinking nothing of it, it’s just a Mexican restaurant, right? Until we had the food! Oh-​me-​gee! This place is AMAZING! Literally everything from the salsa they bring out for the chips to everything on the brunch buffet, amazing! My kids had the chicken fajitas, sooo good! Every bite was a foodgasim! This has just made it on the «must do» list for when we are up here visiting. As an added bonus it looks as they support the local high school students, which is always an awesome thing for any business to do! Service was pretty great too, we even got to meet the cook, Maria; she was a very nice and humble lady. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this place!

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch last Saturday. I ordered a carne asada burrito and my wife ordered the menudo. My burrito was good. The menudo was great. Our server Ricardo wad wonderful. He was friendly and attentive. We will definitely return for the menudo.

Chicken fajitas were excellent, but the rice & beans were bland. Agua de piña was huge but mostly tasted like agua not piña. Nevertheless, if I’m in that area and hungry, I’d stop for the chicken fajitas again.

Tried this place for the first time today after passing by several times before. Ordered a chicken fajita burrito as did my co worker. What little meat and veggies were actually in the burrito had good flavor. However, when you pay $ 7 for a burrito at a place called FAJITAS you would expect fajitas in your burrito and not a lot of rice and bean fillers. Both burritos were the same. Perhaps the fajita plate would be better as you can’t hide what you should be getting! They do offer other stuff so I will give it another chance to see if I can up my rating. Sorry folks but, I believe in getting what you pay for.

My husband and I stopped in McFarland, because we had seen the movie, and wanted to take a look at the little town. We stopped here for lunch. It was good, my husband enjoyed it more than I did. They had a little buffet available and we both got that, it was a great price. I am not a big meat eater and most of it was meat. It was good though, I should have ordered off the menu, but the price was great! Good place for a quick bite to eat, right of the freeway!

We were on our way to Sequoia National Park and decided to stop here for breakfast based on the reviews. Well were pleasantly surprised as they were offering Sunday Brunch. For $ 10 we enjoyed choices such as ribs, fajitas, fried chicken, menudo, rice and beans, ceviche and more. The bar was kept stocked and food was plentiful and hot. Chips and salsa were served as well. One thing that would have been nice would if they had served agua frescas and Posole. Dessert options were sweet rice, fresh fruit, dessert fried tortillas and cake. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and maintained. Service was prompt and friendly. There is ample seating and nice open view of the park across the street. We hope to return soon to enjoy their regular menu even though we live in Bakersfield. We had a very nice visit.

Stopped by this place around 10 am and it was a great breakfast. Hubby’s ham and eggs was basic but my huevos rancheros were great. Salsa was really good and the price was right. We will be back

Always have good food and pretty consistent. Good breakfast burritos. Plus the staff is friendly. The lunch buffet is reasonable, however the one time I ate it, several items were cold. I notified the waitress and she had the cooks make up a fresh batch of what I wanted from the buffet. She looked and some of the warmers were off. Next time I’ll order from the menu just to be safe.

I was rather hungry this afternoon in the rut I have been wearing on SR 99 and recalled the great reviews of Casa de las Fajitas on Unilocal so I decided to give it a try. I also support the five star reviews.
The place was clean and inviting. I had the chili verde burrito (wet). It was huge and delicious and reasonably priced. I loved the salsa. Service was great. I look forward to returning again with a big apatite.
I saw a sign on the door that they are closing at 5:30 in the afternoons. If I lived closer to McFarland, I would be wanting to eat here in the evenings,

Driving thru the area and decided to stop by. What a gem. Restaurant is clean and staff is friendly. Sat down and was brought ice water (with a lime :) & chips w salsa. I ordered the mixed fajitas which include steak chicken & shrimp. My food was prepared quickly and let me say I was pleasantly surprised by the portion. They also brought me rice & beans and also pico de gallo, sour cream & guacamole. Food was great price was good. Defiantly will return.

Found myself in McFarland and was starving, the dog was thirsty, and I needed some kind of food that did not involve meat. Not an easy feat in that area.
So we pulled off and went in to see if there was any veggie options. Lo and behold, they did. My friend ordered the enchiladas and I got a veggie burrito. And he gave us a nice huge cup of water for my dog.
Very friendly service. The order was ready quick. the prices good. And oh my goodness. The servings were huge. That burrito was packed full of delicious veggies. And my friend liked his enchiladas as well.
Left there fat and happy. Definitely a place I would stop again if I was in the area.

Just a little place right off the 99 freeway… very clean and bright without being gaudy!
Your meal comes with a very smoky flavored salsa and thick homage chips plus an unexpected macaroni soup… very yummy… The prices are VERY reasonable… hubby had the ground beef enchiladas and said they were Delish! The ceviche (shrimp) is simply PHENOMENAL!!! We live about 90 miles fr here… but we will definitely be back!!!
